i never commenting videos, but i really appreciate new content format. Im really happy i can have this much knowledge just for free and i can save so much time by not analysing games myself when i want to improve, i really hope your grinding give you happy life, thanks one more time, have a good day, merry christmas and sorry for my bad english
im really intrested about your thought process but more like in psychology aspect, dealing with agression, toxic players, etc. maybe in future you can do video in this style? you seems like very kind, and smart guy + i feel like you have very good control of your mind. Would be nice to see "whole" game from your perspective
love how you review every fight with the text explaining what you couldve done better it is something i try to do myself after every game and seeing how a challenger player reviews his own games is amazing for learning how you think and what i potentially miss with my amateur point of view in my own reviews!
this content should be paid, awesome gameplay and very didactic, the notes and text boxes also very helpful, i mean what can i say, i love this channel i learn a lot
Could Rakan follow the principles you describe? e.g. 0. No starting pots, free boots rune. 1. Play within wave and ward lane bushes lvls 2-5. Don't force contesting bushes against the stronger melee support - focus on peel/sustain/create farming space for your ADC. 2. Play low-interactive lvls2-5 and let melee supports push, but consider lvl1 aggression if ADC is stronger. 3. If crashed wave roam mid, or hook up with jungler if for play if it looks quick (almost always yes I'd think). 4. If enemy support roams, attempt to zone the ADC whilst slow building the wave into a dive (possible to do the wrap around play?). 5. From lvl6 play shift to more aggressive gear, but apply 'no ult no play' roam default heuristic, counter enemy engage by ult/combo-ing the ADC (if doesn't pull you horribly out of position). Use judgement to divert from these principles and adapt to game circumstances e.g. match your ADC's aggression level if they will not follow yours, punish enemies who aren't doing their job properly and allowing you free windows for a lead). Are there any Rakan specific divergences from this?
i dont play a lot of rakan so its hard for me to answer, but u might be able to answer yourself. this works on Bard cause his early is weak is mid to late is insane, and he scales very well off of items so the faster u hit first item the better, if this is the same for rakan then, maybe? if not i would likely not attempt it. BUT best thing u can do is test it and report back! :)
@@LathyrusTv I played 10 games to test the runes and general game approach. 7/10 games were against melee supports. I won 6/10. Average game length was 34mins 19 secs. Av KDA 2.4/4.9/21.4. Caveat: 10 games is not enough to draw solid conclusions. Additionally, I am silver at time of writing, there are much bigger deciding factors in my games than runes and items and I will not have been making the most of them. However, the exercise was fun, so I report anyway. Build: Guardian: av shielding 3536.7 (104 per min) - Great. Demolish (wanted to try): av dmg 1013.3 (29.8 per min) - Probably not good? Don't think I got many plates and restricts build path a bit (need to build health, counter synergy with Jack Of All Trades). Font Of Life probably better. Second Wind: av healing 1221 (35.9 per min) - Good. Overgrowth: av health 200.8 (5.9 per min) = av 536.1 gold value (15.8 per min) - Good. Revitalise might be better? Magical Footwear: av completion 9 mins 31 secs = av 420 gold value (12.4 per min) - Good? Felt really good. Made me limit my roams a bit so I got more lane xp, but didn't feel like it stopped me from roaming. Extra speed was so nice mid/late. Jack Of All Trades: av AH 9.4 and av AF 20.5 = av 880 gold value (25.9 per min). Should have been consistent 10 AH and 25 AF (1000 gold value), but I didn't understand how to build to max it for the 1st couple of games. - Good? Gives a lot of gold value in stats that Rakan wants. Completing with Merc Treads means I have the same AH of lucidity boots, but with tenacity and MR - really nice. Restricts build path - have to go either Locket/Zeke's + Merc Treads + Battlesong/Ardent so only completes at 2nd item (av 21 mins 6 secs), which is not bad for Rakan, but means buying health 2nd item or heal cut will hugely delay completion. Cosmic Insight probably generally better, but Jack not worthless. No potions - Good. There was only 1 game where I felt it might have been nice to have a potion. 100 gold value saved. av 1st item completion time 11 mins. Don't feel like the potion gold really altered this, don't feel like I noticed I was able to buy components I otherwise wouldn't have, but hard to track this for sure. On balance I think the gold helps more than the healing. Rakan's lane sustain is pretty decent and the chill and minimise mindset helps lower risk by being mindful not to force plays. Total gold per min value of set up = 56.9 Overall I think the playstyle works well for Rakan, not forcing early, just shifting gears for high probablity plays, and scaling for mid and late game keeps me up with the game power curve and felt good. Magical Footwear and no potions played into this well. I did not feel like I missed Ultimate Hunter at all, but did kind of miss my Ghost Poros. The combo of Footwear + Jack + Mercs was nice. If you can read the itemisation needs of the game from draft, it could have a place some games. I never managed the wrap around tower dive, Rakan's kit is more conditional than Bard's probably.
Something I never really understand is the stun duration indicator on ur ult. Sometimes it shows the accurate timing and sometimes it moves way to fast. Do you know what could trigger it ticking down faster than it is supposed to?
@@LathyrusTv btw Lathy I was wondering, I remember watching a clip of Riot August where he said that certain spells vary in duration like Morgana Q doesn't Always last the amount it's supposed to (no idea why they don't fix it but ok) and many more, including zhonyas hourglass effect. Does that also mean Bard ult is not always the right duration?? Maybe I'm just coping for the missed Qs but well, feels good to have an excuse
I wasnt hacked this time, more so some1 got access to my channel but i was never booted, it was quite odd and im still unsure of what actually happened
idk if you got a new editor or what, but this new style is A1. Keep it up
around 2 months ago i started working with a new editor where we are valuing quality over quantity, hope the vids are good and u enjoy them! :)

leona taking every portal kills me hahaha
Thank you for the entertaining and educational content, friendly Bard man! 😊
Love the 10 minute early game lesson. I absolutely hate playing against pyke as bard, and seeing your game helped me realize I’m not the only one.
8:43 cait and leona too busy shopping to give a frick about dying omegalul
The editing of your videos has improved so much ! Keep at it ❤

Great content
Something I never really understand is the stun duration indicator on ur ult. Sometimes it shows the accurate timing and sometimes it moves way to fast. Do you know what could trigger it ticking down faster than it is supposed to?
the timer is bugged it account for tenacity even though bard ult isnt affected by tenacity
