Tutorial was excellent, but in latest interface of s3, version id of object is shown on previous versions and not on latest Version of object. Why ?

Hi..
At 7:55 during concurrent application example of second scenario where R1 starts before W2 ended, you said, consistent read may return EC2 or EBS.
But before that during consistent read definition you said it return the latest updated record.
It sounds contradictory.
First of all, if W2 is not completed, why do R1 reads it anyway. And if u say 1 data center is updated, then
R1 should return EBS in second scenario as well even though W2 is not done.
If it cant return 1 value, its should not be called consistent.
