NERF AEGs (or AEB - Automatic Electronic Blaster) have been more miss than hit, and the race is on to make a truly compelling option to revolutionize the hobby. Why? Because it's overpowered: a springer that acts like a flywheeler with none of the downsides of either. Getting a reliable one has been tricky, but the Inverted Scales with the Zhilin Kit is rock solid being made of dependable materials and failing to jam or squib on me a single time. Yeah you can nitpick, and I will, but it's definitely the biggest step forward for the platform of AEBs yet.

I have a bunch of parts coming to help get this thing shooting the way it absolutely should, and hopefully never have to deal with this problem again because the Inverted Scales is absolutely the best AEG I've used.

Hey @WalcomS7 ever think of loading a magnus with rival rounds and upgrading the spring to make a super shotgun pistol
Fun fact: buying an actual grease gun is cheaper than this blaster (250$, ajusted for inflation, 15$ in the 1940's).
Was* good luck buying one for that now.
I wondered in the back of my mind what a more modern take on the auto-springer concept of the stampede would be. And this...I like this.

@@jemeljordan-butler4510 probably won't see cheaper AEBs until a company like Worker or Prime Time Toys makes one, as these smaller companies can't produce as many of these products and therefore can't sell them as cheap as Worker/PTT could.
I am so glad to see AEG's coming back into the hobby. I know the Stampede was one of my first power fantasy blasters a lot of us had back in the day. Trying to mod them before Flywheelers were the norm. I know the hobby has been stagnant for a while with either springer primary or fly wheeler. I'm hoping we see more innovation especially going forward into the new year.

What about the sweetheart storm 2.0 or 2.0 plus, it looks like they also fire at 7-12 dps at 240 and 300 respectively and is readily available from what if seen

i was incredibly surprized by how powerful this is. I even decided to convert the FPS into Joules to get a comparison to airsoft (my main combat sport these days) and i was shocked that it was sustainably hitting 2.5 to 3 Joules

Thanks for the video, I have been a long time fan of the Stampede. A modern half dart Stampede would be a welcomed addition to the hobby. I wish you had shown some firing footage with your MDM, that would have been epic.
For reference, I believe this is also called the LN01, according to Black Raisins.
Definitely forgot about these sort of blasters even though I held on to a stampede just for the mod potential. Kinda hope *if* we ever get a 40k Bolter from nerf they go with AEB mega to give it the size, sound and recoil it'd deserve.

I love this type of blaster! The stampede was dope! And that thing was freaking scary.
This very much is a modernised M3A1 grease gun (with a MP40 barrel nut but anyway) and it looks awesome, I generally wonder whether AEB's will replace flywheel blasters, seems like there's hardly any downsides to it.

People say this blaster is made cheaply, prone to breaking, and very inconsistent.

They're definitely being made and 300fps ones have been made. They're just expensive.
Sweetheart storm plus is the best one out atm. 8-12dps 300fps
been waiting for an aeb like this one :)
It even has a similar fire reate to the M3 grease gun (according to Enlisted, a WW2 squad based first person shooter game. I reccomend getting it, it is free)
I just want a aeb emplacement gun, like a browning m2 equivalent nerf blaster. I mean, hell, make it shoot mega.

That grip would be so big for me, but I love the sten side loading.
6:29 not only smaller but also SOFTER!!!!!!!!! thats HUGELY important for any aeG to use stiffer foam darts if you like to not have jams and stuff
9:45 Literally the same way you change a spring on an Airsoft AEG. Would take 5 minutes at most.
& one more thing WelcomS7 the eastpoint target toy gun can do as well as the gun you showed in this video but you can only fire one dart at a time but it's accuracy is pretty good.
I can’t describe how much I want this to be made to be HvZ. 110-120 FPS, select fire AEB would be insane.

I found the problem to my hpg 700 it was the gears grinding each other so I had to replace the gears it works now

The acorn scar is pretty good at stabilizing darts using air channeling instead of ridges or bearings, its pretty damn good.

another upside is that these hopefully won't wood chipper darts like flywheels. I built a woozi 2 years ago and fired about three mags and I'm still vacuuming up dart confetti today 💀
Can't wait for nerf CWIS systems that can track and engage 8 targets at once and fires 20mm darts at 1200 rounds per minute
That back end is a total eyesore though. Practicality notwithstanding, that front end plus the buffer tube stock tickles me in all the right future-sten places.

The fact that this blaster looks like the M3 Grease Gun is a nice parallel to the MP40-style Colonel Wasp 76

Nope. Totally different system
Used to like AEB but one thing AEB cant matched flywheels is ROF. With motor brake, brushless motor and great build. Flywheel can be accurate ,hard-hitting and compact too. I now prefer flywheel blaster.
There is also a MG3 and M249 SAW that are belt fed and are AEBs. Also, the blaster you showed DOES come in pink.
The mini gun he showcased is also an aeb

This looks like the BO3 equivalent of the grease gun, with the more futuristic look and all that.

I actually wanted to do a build where I took a stampede and put it in a longstrike case to make a kind of smg with an AEB effect. Cool to see there's stuff out there doing kinda that.

Dart Zone will stick with flywheels. Simpler and cheaper to mass produced. AEB whoever make it., the price will be high. There is one cheap AEB BK-01 but its very unreliable mediocre build.

This looks more like a shortened mp40 based on the magwell. If it was a greese gun style it would have more simple stamped steel shapping.

Yes and the motors should swap over too. Running this on an asg 30k would be fun.
I've got the standard power, standard mag well configuration with a Gavin Fuzzy BCAR and it kinda makes everything else I own pointless.
If you are remotely interested in this blaster and can afford it, stop contemplating and just buy one and a batch of Worker heavyweight darts.
It's stupidly accurate and stupidly fun to fire.
