I love thrifting art supplies! I can test them out without investing a lot of $$ on it. Plus, any time I can score interesting items to repurpose, I love it.
@@kimieatsu That's pretty neat! I would love to check out a thrift store that specializes in those. I don't know if I have any of those specific stores close by. I got real lucky with the haul from my local store this time. Lately they haven't had much of anything interesting to me.
@ if you can find one, it’s definitely worth going. My friend gets old calendars to use for collages and they are on $0.25 each, I got a 9lb bag of soy wax for only $10, so it’s a great place to start a new hobby on a budget.
@@kimieatsu That's pretty cool actually. And is really good for people on a budget. If I ever find where one is, I will be sure to document my findings there!
I like how you explained thrifting and how you found unusual art supplies, but something I’ll critique you on is that maybe next time, be sure to put the music in the background instead of the foreground, and put it at a lower volume. This will keep your videos engaging while the music doesn’t overpower your talking
I will admit, I am still learning audio balance and it is tricky sometimes, but I would like to say I am slowly improving. Hopefully lol. But I hope you still enjoyed the video regardless. Also, thanks for the feedback! I want to get better at making videos and I really do enjoy the process. If you have any tips for audio balancing, please share them if you can! It would help immensely.

@@mammaduck3863 Those are very good reasons, imo. It gives art supplies a second chance at life. As long as they were handled right, of course.
Near me, I have a thrift store specifically for crafts, hobbies, and art. I’ve found some really great things there.

The Rudolf kit made me physically cringe-

Can you found some good stuff at the thrift store I never find any of my stuff at mine.
That is what is unfortunate about thrift stores. You're not guaranteed to find good stuff you want. I was SUPER lucky I found anything on this trip.
