Those Konoha elders just forever going to be infuriating. 😑 A nice enough chapter; my favourite part was the Ino moment. I’d say this chapter is representative of the issue Boruto has with dedicating chapters to characters learning about stuff that we as the readers already know. So the characters are like 😮 but then we’re like “Oh! A crumb of new information!”
Might be a stretch but I think the Shinki character might be a counterpart to Mitsuki given their history in the anime. I’d prefer if it was for Gaara but I think it’s to get Mitsuki involved in the final battle. What do you think?
I think the interrogation scene lacked narrative importance. It seemed to only be there to tell Konohamaru about Matsuri and her intentions, but I feel like it could have been implemented a bit better. Also to confirm about Jura's identity.
27:08 Maybe the village needs Kawaki’s okay to work with Boruto. Kawaki is Naruto’s “son”, so if anyone might be willing to look past killing Boruto, it would be the person they presume to have the characteristics of Boruto, but is now kawaki. Even if he Boruto proposes that work together and they entertained that idea, the village is still under kawaki’s thumb with the amount of power he has. Love that they clarified who Jura is. Do you possibly see kawaki killing shikamaru in the future? Shikamaru never gave kawaki an easy time when kawaki first came into the village, and now kawaki has a reason to kill shikamaru if the leaf eventually out shikamaru for aiding Boruto

It was probably only Matsuri who handled Gaara. Mamushi makes it sound like her investigation was a solo affair.
