I love the contrast between geto and Gojo all this time, one with conviction but slowly crumbles because of a trauma and one without conviction nor purpose at first then slowly develops one because of that trauma.
That's why I love Jujutsu Kaisen, that contrast between the characters you see how each one has a point, just like in the final scene where the screen is split with Gojo on one side and Geto on the other. For me the best episode of this arc will be the 5th and last one, I love that dialogue that the two will have.
trauma? No; realization. Both thought they knew the world better than anyone, but in reality they didn’t knew shit about it.
Geto finally meet the masses, how they work and how cruel they all are, clapping the death of an innocent girl just for their religion.
And Gojo, discovered that no matter what, he’ll be the strongest and his destination is to be the one above all.

I love how first everyone wanted toji to die but seeing how just of an amazing character he is people know it was coming but wanted him to stay alibe a bit longer

Yeah and actually me as a manga reader i wasn't impressed about the panel of gojo going crazy in the manga so I wasn't expecting a crazy scene , it's more like it wasnt really impactful to me at least, I believe Toji in this arc is more impactful, but pretty good overall, with a guy like gojo who is broken since the beginning there's no much room to get development but the fact that fighting toji made them changed completely was pretty insane!
Look perfect to me. Gojo in this scene suppose to feel indifferent or arrogant, with him reached a heightened state of mind. Where he feels no sadness, no pain, no anger and no fear. Like what he said he only feel Pleasantness of this world. So to make him unhinged and emotional on the honored scene would be really weird for me.

One thing i really like about jjk is that unlike some anime’s, jjk is not afraid to show off their strongest characters in the beginning. Yes Yuji and the crew have lots of screen time but i really enjoy watching the strongest characters in the series fight so early in the story rather than wait months or years for those big fights to happen
Especially cause that unlocks a path for the author to show even more fights of said strongest characters instead of having to wait all that time, also helps people love the character more, gojo wouldn't be as popular if we didn't get to see him in action
A truly unique anime in this regard

I love this episode... As a manga reader my only issue is I wish they kept the same angle as in the manga when gojo says he's the honoured one. Beside that I thought it was pefexr and can't be too mad because gege (the manga creator of jjk) works with mappa directors on the storyboards so if he was one with it I'm okay 😊

This episode was perfection. The emotions, the animation, ost, va everything was just gorgeous.
I LOVED Gojo's awakening moment. It felt surreal like we can tell the fight against Toji is not even a matter of concern anymore for him. He was in a state of pure bliss & enlightenment and the music and the lighting only amplified that. And I know some preferred a diff angle for *that scene and i get that. But i loved that wide shot of him in the sky looking like he was dancing in the sunlight descended from heaven. They really made him look angelic.
Also his first ever Hollow Purple was pure beauty.

some people don't realize that sukuna was also mentioned as "throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one". In japanese, there are other translations, for sukuna it was "there's no one in this world more prideful and conceited than him" which was mentioned by nanami when yuji and nanami were fighting mahito and he had opened his domain, listen close to what nanami said for sukuna in japanese and then hear what gojo said....
I'm kind of amazed how insanely high level a lot of the shots are throughout the episode, you could rewatch it many times over and notice a lot of subtle things that you didn't see at first. Also it seems like you've got plenty of high level cinematography technique replicated. Kind of like in a good movie shot.
Now i'm thinking if only we had such quality directors when it comes to TV shows like let's say, the Witcher 😅

I absolutely hate the fact that people completely forget the fact that Toji cold bloodedly killed an innocent girl. Yeah he is evil and he is supposed to be like that but when people say stuff like ‘you go Toji’ they seem to forget the monster he is.
