I've lived in the USA for 50 years and struggle with the culture. I'm so different it's depressing because it's hard to keep a job. Not sorry but the insensitive, mechanical way everyone is supposed to go after money with gusto breaks my heart. and the money goes to the guys at the top so...I'm broke and working too hard and keep getting illnesses, so depressing. My boss with a wife at home who sits on his butt and eats and orders people around insists there's no difference between a 10 hour shift and a 12 hour one. And here's me struggling with 6-7 hour shifts busting butt doing all sorts of heavy lifting. He really can't see the difference in our work, or he just doesn't care. good times. I cry a lot. I'm too old for this sh!t.

That opening was met with almost completely dead silence and there was never an outbreak of loud laughter just polite laughter at the right moments, Fern seems like a nice lady but based on her filmed performances her material lacks consistency and for the stages she's performing on the audience reactions are always fairly quiet and subdued.
