This past year got as powerful ups than downs which made it a difficult one... Thought I'm ready to keep on going and keep pushing in 2023. !! :)
I'm so thankful living amazing adventures like these, and will keep trying to create occasions... the development of the drone fleet is real, and i'm very excited to see what all these new machines can do !! should be quite awesome !
Some words about some shots in this video :
I think I definitely edited this video with my heart more than anything... it was important for me to show many shots that hasn't been shown / posted already. but obviously, many of them aren't "perfect" shots, but it's also interesting to show the difficulties I hit. Filming wingsuit really pushes the gear to their last limits (and the pilot also haha)
for exemple, the shot at 57'' is vibrating like hell and is definitely a "unusable shot" from my pov, but actually I think it's the fastest flight I ever did, it's for sure above 230km/h I flew the whole line full throttle and the battery went in the bin straight away. Being in high altitude and crazy cold, these are situations you cannot reproduce while testing, so there is actualy no way to know if the drone is gonna work well or not... ;)
For the next shot, I did put it in cuz it's an amazing moment I shared with Tomerik, but same, it's not supposed to be used cuz unstabilizable... logging the gyro with an instago2 has limits batterywise when you shoot a lot of times in a row. Though some would say that these shaky movements adds to the action feeling...
for the shot at 1'30'', I'm just so happy to be able to push these drones that fast, cuz here Veush is not adapting his flight for me, I'm truly filming his sport as he would do it if I wasn't there. thats awesome ! I'm slowly closing in on the goal of building fast enough drones ;)
2'11'' probably a world first for Veush here ^^
3'40'' How incredible is Zip at tracking hey ? !! ;) this shot shows the top performance of both him and my Komodo rig. Super long and fast flight, precise piloting, yes from some povs the movements could be improved, I'm working on it.
4'20'' Matt we miss you.
4'38'' there is an awesome Easter egg in the bottom left corner you probably didn't see !!! the way Veush flairs up looks so awesome !
5'00'' my piloting in this shot is a huge fail ! 2 really bad stick inputs, + no gyro log on this one either + 2 disgusting black stains on the lens.... well this shouldn't be shown ! BUT this was such an incredible moment, the organization the get something like this is crazy heavy and difficult, (was all legal btw) I will never thank enough the people involved...so yeah, The moment was to important so the shot has to go in at list as a souvenir, and/or for me to remember how many things can go south and kill a shot ;) and actualy the video is so long that nobody will see it ( or read this^^)
anyway, many awesome experiences this year, many things learned, many to improve, lets see how hard we can push in 2023

What an absolutely incredible compilation of drone flying, camera shots, and focus of content. Tracking and Wingsuit flying have never been captured like this before, even by other wingsuit fliers. The shot @ 3:37 is something special; perfect tracking and magical lighting made possible by elite level drone piloting. 5:00 / description: It's hilarious how the editor sees faults, yet the viewer will never even bat an eye; I can still see no issues here, it's a great sequence in an amazing environment. This entire edit is impressive.

it is an awesome Video none of the problems was very obvious to me before reading the description. I look at it the bob ross way it adds character to the shots i really like it. Oh man awesome showreel I love the feel for speed in this one, some of the clips are looking so insane good at the high speed absolute great work the part around 0:58 that speed and the evoriment all snowy I think an non FPV Drone pilot can´t imaging the hussle behind getting such shots absolute love this! As usual, COLA, this is absolutely incredible! Not only are you are showcasing incredible shots, your insane piloting and cinematography skill, and the skill of all the athletes, but you're capturing BASE leaders pushing through the current limits of the sport. The essence of extreme sports is to push limits, and you are documenting a critical period in BASE history. As the sport continues to grow, your videos collectively capture the story of such growth. They will be referred back to in years to come as a showcase of BASE pioneers just as they represent you as an FPV pioneer.
Keep doing what you do; continue pushing limits, publishing it for all to see and, most of all, enjoy the journey.

Watched with pleasure the entire video 100%. Don't worry, all shots are good. And at 5:00 a really rare and difficult shot, this is its price, and it's not scary that something went wrong. The main shot is a rare shot, and not bad at all. Planned to shoot something similar this summer. It's really not easy to organize. The parachutist at certain points refused to jump from a hang glider, I had to shoot a standard jump from an airplane without fpv.

Descriptions are really great to read! I can imagine the difficulty of trying to get the guys locked in frame at those speeds. My 5" with aggressive props tops out at 130 MPH - and that for a max if 5-10 seconds - so I don't know how you keep up - I never thought about it until I read the description. The caliber and clarity of your shots is amazing. I'm so happy to have seen you become successful doing this - from the rotor riot community spotlight where I subscribed to where you are now! Clearly a lot of hard work and grit - keep posting!

Bonjour, your Videos are absolutly amazing. What setup were you using to chase the fast wingsuits?
I've been looking at those 1500kv xnova 2208 for a 6" setup.
But now I've gotten the idea of making an 8S 5" setup with those motors as well. Seems 1500kv is just right for 5" and 8S. Foxeer stack is supporting 8S now. Two 1050mah 4s tattu in series will do the job.
Do you think it will work well with these motors?
Cola is that track suit or slick tracking from 3'40""?
