So naturally, we're going to be ranking some of the best body kits for the 1st gen! Everything from the Rocket Bunny Kits to the Varis Widebody Kit! Which kit is your favorite?

the after market on the BRZ/86/FRS Platform is massive, gotta give it respect.
I personally love the simplicity of the rb v1 kit. It is certainly a function over form kit but still looks amazing when done right!
I’ve really been enjoying this video format, you could honestly make like 100 of these and I’d watch every one. You do a good job of making the videos entertaining and I’m always interested to see new body kits and different ways aftermarket designers go about a car.

My man listening to the comments! Not sure how viable this is financially, but a lot of us are still big fans of the 1st gen's still. Would love to see you pick up a 1st gen and compare it to the 2nd gen. Would make for a ton of easy comparison videos!
I still have my FRS haha it's a bit more modified than my GR86 though so it wouldn't be a fair comparison.

I personally like the Pandem v3.5, I like the bolt on hardware and exposed look,, love the curves of the body kit. The kit has a lot going on, but I really like it

The Futago Line kit is honestly top tier, and so slept on. Im still shocked that some of the hardcore enthusiasts don’t even know about it! Something about that early 2000s look just makes it an undeniable S-tier kit.

They weren’t exactly mentioned in this video, but my current favorite kit for the ZN6/ZC6 generation 86’s is the Varis Arising 2 Version 2 Kit, and it’s my long term goal for my own BRZ. Its basically the same as the regular arising 2 kit, but I just love the updated front bumper and the addition of the slightly wider front fender replacement. They have a design to them that kinda directs air over the mirrors like the TRD fender aero fins, but with a shape that’s reminiscent of the R34 Z Tune fenders. Then my second favorite, currently, would have to be the original cleib aero kit; the “new” cleib kit that replaces the front bumper is still ok, but that front end definitely takes getting used to.
Front end of the Clieb kit makes me think of a less happy BRZ haha
hey kevin, I have a (EU/JDM) Aero lip kit (i believe it's called the NUR spec in the USA) on my GT86. I really expected this kit in the video but have not seen it. What are your honnest thoughts?
Make sure it is not the TRD one! it was an option here straight from Toyota.

Hi Kevin, I have Varis arising 1 installed on my 2019 86. Interested to hear your opinion/ranking.
Varis Arising 1 is an A-tier for me. It's simplistic, not too busy and it makes the car look a lot more aggressive.

I’m running the Robot Craftsman kit and my favorite thing about it that rear bumper in carbon
Also think LBWK makes ugly “F Tier” kits for the 86 platform 🤧 but my 2 cents 🤷🏻♂️
I tried not to be too critical of them haha plus I liked the rear end so I gave it some slack.
Btw the stock bumper will fit on the aimgain v2 kit

Should do a part 2 for kits you can't fit in, The Ings kit I feel should been atleast an A it's a solid kit despite the spoiler would change it for a duck tail, definitely my fave for a daily driver. For wide body Track I'd go with ML24 V2 but change that spoiler for a Duck Tail

You missed the Arise kit. Not the Varis Arise. But the “Arise” Arise kit 😂. The company itself is Arise.

No arise motorsport kit? Its a stock front body bumper replacement side skirts not sure about rear though.
Aimgain gtf kit has it with the facelift oem gen brz/86 for both bumpers making it an S.
Arise kit looks pretty good! It's like a toned down Varis kit.
All of these kits seem to be for stance fans and the lil itty bitty rubber band tire crowd.
It be cool if you made a vid like this with Frs-brz-86 race cars with slicks and kits with fenders as high as the hood with fat 300/55/18s
like the Arta Toyota gt86, Toyota Super gt, 86 GT300, BRZ JGTC race car, BRZ STi NBR challenge car, etc
Karma v2 and Robot Craftman are #1 widebody for me

I'm surprised you hadn't seen the Ralleybacker kit before considering 2 of the bigger 86 youtubers run that kit like Birdy from Kingsmustrise and Calvin from TJ Hunts channel.
My favorite kit though is BY FAR the Aimgain kit that looks like a Lexus but done much better than the kit in this video. Birdy runs the aimgain front bumper with the ralleybacker kit and it looks amazing IMO. But we all have our own taste which is what is so great about the car community.

The TRD kit is an A for me as it sort of looks like the Varis Arising-II kit. The STI lip kit is meh. Front lip isn't terrible.

Good question. Definitely could have included in STi as well. I absolutely love the TRD kit (both V1, V2, and the 14R60). I’d assume he may have a part 2 at some point
I actually really like the TRD kit, but didn't include it because it's not that mindblowing I guess. As for the STI lip kit, not a big fan. There are just too many to include! haha
