Thank you all for your service. I just lost my 29 year military veteran son last April due to a head on collision. This touched my heart and wanted you all to know this brought a smile to my face in my mourning time. Thank you. This was absolutely wonderful.

My Brother in law retired from the 82nd after 30 years of service. His wife, my sister have moved back to Fayetteville NC, and both now work on Post. They're still serving our brave men and women. Their daughter and son are Navy. One of my grandsons is a Marine. God Bless America! ❤🙏🇺🇸

Not only are they are on active jump status, I see a few combat badges in there. For those that don't know, that means a few of those paratroopers have seen front-line combat action up close and personal. ALL THE WAY!
My father was in the 82nd Airborne division. He started in 1954. He is gone now. Miss him so much. He was a great man served in the Army for 23 years .and 20 years in civil service. Love you Dad.

With all the cadences we use to sing I Basic and AIT Im realizing the Army was a one big musical. Lol I miss calling cadence so much. They sound amazing!

Well, diversity has nothing to do with this...they are all red-blooded American citizens defending our freedom. In the entire time I was in the Navy, we always said there is no black, white, yellow or red...there is only Navy Blue...WE were all Shipmates and ONE people, whose lives were entrusted to me and mine to them. I am sure this is the same attitude for our Army, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine along with every American Citizen. WE ARE ALL ONE PEOPLE!!!!!

My big brother was 82nd Airborne. PFC George Robert Langley III - medical division. He passed away Sept 1973 @ 19yo. I don't hv any memories of him due to being 14 yrs younger. Does anyone reading this know how I can maybe get pics of him when he was enlisted? I'd just love that. ❤️
