@@thomaschapman5761 No no... I mean. I already saw an epicTv Madagascar video like two days prior to this one releasing and it is... The same video. So what gives.
They are going places that are not known for their climbing, and so are less travelled to by climbers. They are showing that there is beautiful climbing all around the world.
@@Benborntoride hah, never thought of it like that but can see how one might interpret it like that. It's a common expression & doesn't even really have to refer to a geographic location. One could use it or the more frequently used saying, "The/a road less travelled" in many different contexts. 🤙🏼
Do you know how long a meter is? What’s your expectation of bolt distance, 50 feet? If so, you are cordially invited to come climb at Whitehorse Ledge, New Hampshire 😁.
Just googled it. That one? I’d climb free. Ropes will only slow me down. (Whether I die or break all my bones is decided in the first 30 meters of the climb. These are my only two options on a serious attempt.) 😂 I tried smith rock OR once. Emphasis on tried. My climbing skills… if I were to measure them…. I think you can’t measure it.You’ll have to dig for it.
Lovely video, thanks
Epic boulders
Eco travel is as risky to local communities as is mining.
I lived in South Lake Tahoe for 18 years. The degradation is astounding.
Looks amazing :)
I thought Out of Africa was F7a? Is this a variation?
4:20 looks like gritstone? Surely not...
Looks great climbing-wise but climate-wise time to move on from this sort of promotion?
Is this a repost..?
i think it is. Pretty sure this was pre-covid

Definitely not a new yosemite as far as the walls are concerned...there's no cracks!
look at 7:24
and 8:56
Really awesome. But why is the retreat owner so superstitious in his building practices?
I still don't get the title of those videos. Why calling it "a world less travelled" ?

@@sailinggaia3582 ok thx for taking time to answer! I had it as: reducing our carbon footprint...

Wildlife. Savannah. Wadi.
Bloke with angle grinder 🤣
long runouts are the definition and character of climbing. keep them.
runouts on slabs are obligatory, perhaps not twenty metres but 6 to 8 to 10 metres, never bolts a slab every 3 metres
not 7b+...
Looks harder actually
Madagascar looks pretty nasty until you get out on the walls.
an island destroyed by humans..now the climbers are here to despoil the rocks with their chalkmarks...
Bolts every few meters? Why not use a ladder? New routes are practically the same thing 😜
