The roles were given so perfectly to each of them. Especially the leads, Babe and Charlie, because Pavel and Pooh are truly the best for those roles. And the way Pavel was so happy and emotional when Pooh got the part 🥹 it's beautiful to see the bond between them even before the series started.

I waited to watch Boys Journey after PitBabe was over because I wanted to judge the actors as their characters and they did a phenomenal job. The actors made me fall in love with the whole cast even the antagonists and morally grey characters like Way, Kenta, Dean and Winner. Watching the reality series was a nice treat to see the actors as themselves - I cried with them, laughed with them, stressed with them (the military and food cooking episodes stressed me out 😅) . The cast were perfectly matched with the characters and it was awesome to see where they started from after watching what they made the series into. I hope to see and will support these 12 amazing men in more series in the future - Y series or other series. ❤❤💘
After the last episode everything hits differently, I seriously hoped for a better ending for Way and Pete! Sorry for the spoiler but can't handle this :(
I think they kinda knew their roles beforehand and this was just an official recognition to that. Because if you watch ep14 almost all the interviews are of the official pairs together. Which means that they should actually have an idea beforehand.
I agree... Kinda. I don't think there was any official designation before this episode, but I believe the casting directors had dropped strong hints way before this last episode. The interviews that you mentioned also strongly support this view.
No, they don't know their roles because their reactions show that this was their first time knowing. However, their pairs were assigned before the show aired, but the roles, they didn't know what roles they will receive until their partners got their respective roles and when the Writer/Director described the characters.
@@ukiss4ever7 yeah maybe the roles were not given, but I do think that the pairs were almost decided though not exactly confirmed. Because the previous episodes did show the "official pairing" many many times. I think they might have been testing the waters with that and seeing the reception of the pairs. And if some dislikes/discussion were aroused during that telecasts they might have changed the pairs a bit. Since nothing of that sort happened, they might have confirmed the original pairing as such and finally assigned the roles to all of them.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s definitely happy for him but I also think it’s also bc they were sorted into pairs earlier. And if Charlie’s character went to Pooh, Pavel kind of already knew that he would be Babe

Few episodes ago he actually told us about his life story. He's a full Thai and born in Thailand but had to moved to New Zeland with his mum when he was just a kid because his mum got a job there. He grew up there, until he got expeled from college and had to moved back to Thailand. I forgot what episode, but his story and other cast members's story makes me teary. It really shows how they are also a regular human being with real life story and flaws of their own, not just a dazzling celebrity that we hope has no flaw at all.

I think they kinda knew their roles beforehand and this was just an official recognition to that. Because if you watch ep14 almost all the interviews are of the official pairs together. Which means that they should actually have an idea beforehand.

I don't think there was any official designation before this episode, but I believe the casting directors had dropped strong hints way before this last episode.
The interviews that you mentioned also strongly support this view.
No, they don't know their roles because their reactions show that this was their first time knowing. However, their pairs were assigned before the show aired, but the roles, they didn't know what roles they will receive until their partners got their respective roles and when the Writer/Director described the characters.
@@ukiss4ever7 yeah maybe the roles were not given, but I do think that the pairs were almost decided though not exactly confirmed. Because the previous episodes did show the "official pairing" many many times. I think they might have been testing the waters with that and seeing the reception of the pairs. And if some dislikes/discussion were aroused during that telecasts they might have changed the pairs a bit. Since nothing of that sort happened, they might have confirmed the original pairing as such and finally assigned the roles to all of them.

ThankYou so much for casting them Best decision ever made Pooh and Pavel as Charlie and Babe are just perfect together like I cannot think anyone doing their roles these two has my heart they did amazing job also all cast are just perfect with their each respective roles and everyone justified their character so brilliantly and amazingly with their talent even if they got short period of time to act in episodes but the impact they gave is very strong through their acting in that short period of time they clearly justified their roles in given time with their strong performance whenever they came on screen they shined throughout the episodes n as a fan I enjoyed each and everyone Acting so beautiful. This show really became one of my top favourite BL drama in 2024, m gonna miss them all together so much. bcz of all Actors this show came all together and just shined. I hope I see them again all together in future in amazing project and working together again ❤️🥹

Few episodes ago he actually told us about his life story. He's a full Thai and born in Thailand but had to moved to New Zeland with his mum when he was just a kid because his mum got a job there. He grew up there, until he got expeled from college and had to moved back to Thailand.
I forgot what episode, but his story and other cast members's story makes me teary. It really shows how they are also a regular human being with real life story and flaws of their own, not just a dazzling celebrity that we hope has no flaw at all.
