The ghosts of beach walking past with all those foot prints...Nice weather to explore. Thanks for always sharing your videos. Wish I could see the ocean more than I do, so this gives me a taste of it...
Hi Darla, this was a lot of fun! I worked 2 sand cuts at low tide. Targets were all loaded just to the west of the deep cuts, dimes and pennies high up on the beach and quarters, nickels & fishing weights low near the water. I guess I got what there was to be gotten! Happy Hunting
Thank you, I bought the chimes about 10 yrs ago, they are very long so the tunes they play as the wind blows are deep and beautiful. I love hearing them sitting on the deck. I bought that turtle in Oct at the NC Seafood Festival.
I love Crystal Coast. Hello my friend :) Lets go digging . Same knives . Must be the same person . Hooks and Knives not good. Thank goodness you found. How do you clean the coins?
Hi Darren, yes, lots of hooks, knives and other sharp objects. Fisherman lose their gear in the water and the ocean's high tide washes it all out on to the beach. I use vinegar & baking soda to clean coins. Have a good day!
I got the one with two tumblers and I put my pennies in one and my quarters, dimes and nickels in the other. I'm happy your getting one and trust me, your going to love !
Nice finds Basia. That black heart is really pretty. You can start your own tackle shop with the fishing gear you find on the beach. So cool to have the beach all to yourself. And it was nice to see the fishermen letting the stingray go back into the water instead of ;letting it die. Thanks so much for sharing. GL and HH. Eric
Thank you Eric. I think that little heart is in tarnished silver, I will work on cleaning it up more. It was really cool just being out there by myself, felt like it was all mine! Happy Hunting
Hi Basia. Thanks for the upload, I do love it when you do. Its scary that you find so many hooks on the beach, I just imagine the kids playing their, having them stuck in their feet.
Thank you Kevin. Yes, you have to be aware that all kinds of objects are in the sand. I am happy to dig out all the hooks & knives and dispose of them and maybe save a few feet! Have a good evening!
Really cool fishing weights Basia. I dug an old lead sinker with a patent date just a few days ago. I always like finding them for some reason. Great quarter count too. You truly are a quarter hoarder!
Hi Basia. That numbers game is great.. Yes those 5 ounce lead weights would be nice if they were GOLD bars..😃😆 Doing well on the Quarters. Thanks for sharing your finds. Cheers TONY.👍🍺⛏🇦🇺
Basia Today Thank you. Actually a bit congested today. Went to Circus Circus on sunday and feeling a bit under. I just wanted to play Ski Ball and I ended up with a bacterial infection. Thanks Vegas! J/k
Thank you Tim! This was my second coin from Bahamas. The hurricanes have stirred up the ocean and each high tide delivers more targets. My favorite time is low tide as there is more sand to detect. You just find a good spot and detect all of it, up toward high tide mark and then back to the water. This is a very exciting hobby for me! Have a great Sunday!
Great hunt, Basia. I think I saw my scoop tracks at the start of this video. I was glad I didn’t see them as you were digging, tho. Thanks for the video.
It definitely looks like it was an excellent day out on the beach with the metal detector for sure my friend. And I gotta say you're lucky to live in a part of the world where it still that warm in November LOL. Up here in Massachusetts we've already got our first dusting of snow and unfortunately that will be only the first of many. Thanks for sharing my friend.
You did quite well on the change.... I cant see to find much in the way of change out here.... or much of anything for that matter lately! LOL... Take care and GL&HH to you Basia
Thank you! I only had one coin spill in dry sand (fishermen hanging out there and fishing all day). All the other coins were washed out by the sand cuts! This just goes on and on and a good storm will bring even more. Happy Hunting
My son got me a rock tumbler last year for Christmas and my coins come out nice and clean. I put some dish soap and little vinegar with water and that seems to work for me. You can find one one EBay or Amazon. Take care Basia.
Man those hooks you find are something else!! Must have alot of fishing there, I am in Southern Calif. And our beaches get them also... Glad you take em out so many People on the beach go barefoot so that's really scary!
Thank you Sinisha! Fisherman lose their sinkers and hooks and knives and the ocean washes it all out on the beach. Got to be careful out there. Happy Hunting
i am coming down to EI tomorrow for the weekend, i may see you on the beaches, i have followed all your videos and got great inspiration and hope for my visit. Hopefully you haven't found all the "treasure" at EI, lol.Look for the very tall British guy and that would be me.
I Andrew. I am out of town so I hope you find all the goodies I would find, ha! I would recommend you hit the beach at low tide, close to the water. The beach is getting sanded over so you may not have much luck detecting the dry sand. If you go near the pier, you will see other people detecting, just the way it goes. You may have better luck going to eastern regional access (around 2800 block) and then walk east. Be sure to detect any sand cuts you find. Let me know how you make out.
Hi Basia, i had a great time at EI over the weekend but not much luck MD'ing. I only managed to find 2 fishing sinkers , about 5 cents, 1 dime and a silver ring (think it might be costume jewelry though). But i had fun there is always the next time.
Well, you got a few targets, good for you! Yes, it's always fun and there is always the next time. Today there were really high waves and washouts so tomorrow there should be more targets out on the beach. Just the way it goes.
You could get 50 cents each out of your sinkers I bet , they work well in surf because they have real drag to fight the current , that one silver hook that has the tip pointing back into the hook body is called a circle hook and never get one stuck in you they are terrible to get out . You should hit the low valleys closer to the water line for gold , it's heavier than lead and may stick in the deeper washes .
Hi Elizabeth, I am not in EI until next week. Not sure where you are staying but check around and see who is serving turkey dinner. Gale force winds the other day stirred up the ocean so detecting may be decent, start in Atlantic Beach and work your way west. Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Hunting
*Greetings. Have a wonderful new week!* Hello. At the end of the year, I stop visiting your channels. I can not follow anymore. You are too numerous. Thanks for understanding. Beautiful day.
I would be in Heaven at your beach because I love finding pocket change.I put all my pocket change in my treasure box and at the end of the year I see how much I found all together. How do you clean your pocket change Basis ? I can wait to see how many quarters in will end up finding for the year. Happy hunting !
Nice video looks like a little onyx heart pendant.the number is a game i remember having a plastic one nice sunglasses too are you going to keep them? what will you do with the fishing weights? wow thats really a quiescence having another knife to go with other one you found! i love wheat pennies and collect old coins thats awesome.
Hi, Happy Thanksgiving! I keep some of the stuff I find and give away or donate the rest. I used to give away all the fishing gear I find but am keeping it all now. I understand I can sell the fishing weights at $1 per pound. As far as the knives, looks like that is a popular knife that fishermen use so I expect to find more.
Great finds! I was curious... on your trash finds the little piece of metal shaped like a bell with a hole in the top, do you know what that is? I found a couple and had no clue what they were!
Hi, I use Olympus Tough camera, hand held. Tough and waterproof. Dropped it many times & works like a charm. Great for daylight outdoor and indoor, however, doesn't perform well in low light, clicking noise.
340 quarters for the year, so far! What is your highest annual total so far, in quarters, Basia? Great hunt, but I would like to see more of your actual detecting, if you don't mind - not just the finds. Your swing and the sounds from your detector would be interesting. Yes, thanks for telling us what numbers it advises. It seems very reliable.
Hi, this is the first year that I am keeping count of the quarters I find. Prior years I would lump it all together for grand total for the year (I don't post that in case tax man is watching)!
Very nice finds my dear 💙💚
Thank you so much!
Another nice Video & Hunt Basia ! ................. Good luck on the next : )
Thank you Ed, Happy Hunting!
Such a fertile beach 🙂 Nice findings.
Thank you. It's not like this everywhere so you have to "find" areas like this one. Have a great day!
Always enjoy your adventures in the sand and surf... Love watching you add them coins up!
Thank you so much!
love and enjoy the vids can't get enough thanks
Thank you so much!
The ghosts of beach walking past with all those foot prints...Nice weather to explore. Thanks for always sharing your videos. Wish I could see the ocean more than I do, so this gives me a taste of it...

It was a lot of fun! Thanks for coming along!
Wish I could go to a beach but you inspire me to crank up my old metal detector and search around the house.
Alright, you go girl! Happy Hunting!
Hi Basia. Thanks for the upload, I do love it when you do. Its scary that you find so many hooks on the beach, I just imagine the kids playing their, having them stuck in their feet.

Hi Kathy, you are one tough cheerleader! I will keep chipping away, still have some time!
You did quite well on the change.... I cant see to find much in the way of change out here.... or much of anything for that matter lately! LOL... Take care and GL&HH to you Basia

Man those hooks you find are something else!!
Must have alot of fishing there, I am in Southern Calif.

People on the beach go barefoot so that's really scary!
Yes, people fish here all the time but fall, winter & spring are the fishing seasons here. So no surprise to find all that fishing gear!
Beautiful beach Basia but on the other hand scary,
too much of those hooks in the sand.
Congrats on pile of money! Great year for you!
Thank you Sinisha! Fisherman lose their sinkers and hooks and knives and the ocean washes it all out on the beach. Got to be careful out there. Happy Hunting
I haven't seen one of those number slider games (square with small numbered squares) since I was a kid (they were plastic way back then 😆
Hi Liz, I don't think I ever saw one before. So I stared at it like "what the heck is this"!
Hahaha
You are lucky you find tons of quarters it's really great
Eventually it'll pay for your detector and everything :-)
Hi, yes, all the $$$ & jewelry I found since I started back in 2014 already paid for everything! What an awesome hobby!
i am coming down to EI tomorrow for the weekend, i may see you on the beaches, i have followed all your videos and got great inspiration and hope for my visit. Hopefully you haven't found all the "treasure" at EI, lol.Look for the very tall British guy and that would be me.

Thanks for your feedback! My detector (the display & battery compartment) not waterproof so I have to really watch it and not get it wet!
Howdy! In town for the holiday and thinking of where to do turkey dinner and where to go detecting! Holler if you’re around and would like to meet up!
Basia Today wow thank you! Sorry we are missing each other but we’ll be back. :) enjoy the holiday!
*Greetings. Have a wonderful new week!*

Thank you Michael, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
How do you clean your coins?
Thank you
For nickels, quarters & dimes I use: vinegar, warm water, a little dawn detergent, some salt and baking soda!
I would be in Heaven at your beach because I love finding pocket change.I put all my pocket change in my treasure box and at the end of the year I see how much I found all together. How do you clean your pocket change Basis ? I can wait to see how many quarters in will end up finding for the year. Happy hunting !
Hi, I use vinegar & baking soda. How about you? What is your cleaning technique?
Nice video looks like a little onyx heart pendant.the number is a game i remember having a plastic one nice sunglasses too are you going to keep them? what will you do with the fishing weights? wow thats really a quiescence having another knife to go with other one you found! i love wheat pennies and collect old coins thats awesome.

Beautiful morning in North Carolina basia :) some good finds there :) when did you first start getting into metal detecting?
It was a gorgeous day out there! My hubby got me this detector in 2014! Life has never been the same, this hobby is so addicting!
Lead is around a dollar a pound. Just keep saving those sinkers and cash them in one day..
I think I will do that!
Wow! No Dislikes!
Ha ha ha, not bad is what I say! Thanks for watching!
Great finds! I was curious... on your trash finds the little piece of metal shaped like a bell with a hole in the top, do you know what that is? I found a couple and had no clue what they were!
Thank you Heather. I have found these before as well. They come off beach chairs.
Excellent video Basia!!! ♥ #danai2014 ♥
Thank you Danai!
What type of camera or go - pro do you use for filming? Thanks
Hi, I use Olympus Tough camera, hand held. Tough and waterproof. Dropped it many times & works like a charm. Great for daylight outdoor and indoor, however, doesn't perform well in low light, clicking noise.
If you walk on a beach barefoot, you're asking for pain :(
Hi, yes, you can step on something that will hurt you! Have a great day!
