The Austrian National Library is the largest library in Austria, with more than 12 million items in its various collections. The library is located in the Neue Burg Wing of the Hofburg in center of Vienna. Since 2005, some of the collections have been relocated within the baroque structure of the Palais Mollard-Clary. Founded by the Habsburgs, the library was originally called the Imperial Court Library the change to the current name occurred in 1920. The library complex includes four museums, as well as multiple special collections and archives.
Die Österreichische Nationalbibliothek in Wien ist die öffentlich zugängliche, zentrale wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Österreichs. Sie befindet sich in der Neuen Burg am Heldenplatz, die historischen Sammlungen und die Verwaltung sind vom benachbarten Josefsplatz zugänglich. Weitere Abteilungen befinden sich in anderen Teilen der Hofburg und im Palais Mollard-Clary in der Herrengasse. Die zuständige Aufsichtsbehörde der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek ist das Bundeskanzleramt.
Als Nationalbibliothek sammelt sie unter anderem die Pflichtexemplare aller in Österreich erschienenen oder hergestellten Druckwerke. Darunter sind alle von den österreichischen Universitäten approbierten Dissertationen. Seit Juli 2000 wurde die Sammlung von Pflichtexemplaren auf elektronische Medien ausgeweitet. Mit dem Projekt ANNO werden auch historische Zeitungen und Zeitschriften gescannt und online zur Verfügung gestellt.
Im Kaisertum Österreich, ab 1867 in Österreich-Ungarn, war die Bibliothek bis zum Ende des Ersten Weltkrieges als Wiener Hofbibliothek eine der umfangreichsten Universalbibliotheken der Welt. Heute liegt der Schwerpunkt der Sammlung im geisteswissenschaftlichen Bereich.
Als Bundesmuseum umfasst die Österreichische Nationalbibliothek auch fünf spezielle Angebote: den Prunksaal, das Papyrusmuseum, das Globenmuseum, das Esperantomuseum und das Literaturmuseum der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek im denkmalgeschützten ehemaligen k.k. Hofkammerarchiv in der Johannesgasse 6 im ersten Wiener Bezirk eröffnet.
Wissenswertes und Geschichte - Schulgarten Kagran
Der 60.000 Quadratmeter große Schulgarten liegt direkt neben der U1 Station Kagran. Er ist Übungsgelände für Schülerinnen und Schüler der Berufsschule für Gartenbau und Floristik.
Lehrlinge sowie Schülerinnen und Schüler können in den fünf Abteilungen Baumschule, Gemüsebau, Glashaus, Landschaft sowie Stauden einen umfassenden Einblick in alle Sparten des Gartenbaus gewinnen.
Darüber hinaus bietet der Schulgarten Kagran mit seinen vielfältigen Themengärten und reichhaltigen Bepflanzungen auch für die Bürgerinnen und Bürger die Gelegenheit, sich über die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten des Gartenbaus und der Gartengestaltung zu informieren.

I have had several visits to the National Library of Vienna, but I can tell the patient and staff by reading this image and the detailed guide attached. The content was further refined by local tourist guides, and the opinions of travelers from neighboring countries became an important point. Thank you for releasing a great video on the main theme of the Austrian National Library. Today, the “video viewing event” was held for patients and staff as usual, and the 250 people who attended were filled with great joy. Yesterday's typhoon was not widespread, but recorded the strongest instantaneous wind speed in this area, the strongest instantaneous wind speed in the history of Japanese observation. Oh Richard my friend, what a brilliant production by you and your darling Elisabeth!! What other city in the world can boast so much beauty and tons of amazing sights to see with something to please every tourist from the brilliant architecture, the stunning gardens etc. etc.; I particularly enjoyed the more tropical ones on this video looking so cool, lush and clean. Talking about clean!! I read that Vienna has a reputation for being a clean and green city with great air and drinking water quality; noise pollution is also low ... could do with some peace and quiet. Talking about pollution ..... we are suffering terrible bush fires in Australia with people coming home to piles of rubble where once stood their lovely homes. This morning I peered through my window and the air was filled with thick smoke. I hate the heat. Anywho, sorry for the sad interruption and back to your beautiful Vienna. At first I thought the library was a church with its painted ceilings and so much detail .... you could spend all day in this place ... it is so beautiful; 12 million items ... oh mon dieu!! it is simply overwhelming. Beautiful music and voices, very strong and striking in keeping with the regal beauty of Vienna and then more tranquil towards the end with the more quaint gardens and buildings.
