This a spectacular cw44-9 model from Athearn Genesis, Athearn has really improved themselves with their Genesis 2.0 series and this GE dash 9 locomotive model is an impressive representative of the new Genesis series. The Athearn Genesis 2.0 series has produced many amazing locomotive models and Athearn has really made many major improvements to their locomotive model detail and lighting features over the past 5 years from my observation, I am eager to see more great models from the Genesis 2.0 series in the future.
Athearn produced the SD70ACE under the Genesis 2.0 line but they dont seem to have animated roller bearing trucks unless I'm missing something in the reviews that I've seen because if they had those details I'd have about a dozen of them
@@vasolama4543 athearn has definitely improved a bit though. My SD60M Triclops, NS #6807, has a 3rd gen K5LA put on it after it was overhauled, and the model I have has it. While the other ones have K3LA's

I have a kato 9660 dc it’s irl counterpart is torched major burn marks on both sides they truly earned their nickname ge toasters

But scaletrains has the best unit specific detail. I like scaletrains. And Athearn is great with detailing too!
