I hope this guy gets a chance to show what he can do at training camp in NE. Talent wise he looks like he's got a really high ceiling. He's got some good instincts and is a hell of an athlete. He also said he's willing to work out at WR.
We need a running QB. Your white night wont do. If you can't throw on the run or run your useless in todays NFL
If he starts out at WR, we could have an insane trick play setup.

Edelman played QB in college and when he signed with NE he played various roles before settling at WR. When your WR thinks like a QB and can get on the same page with your QB it can be dangerous.

That would have been nice if Belichick cared about offense as much as defense. Cut him to the practice squad and then stepped down... now Mayo has to try to rebuild this team. Unbelievable honestly. I love Bill but but Tom Brady was the heart of the Pats and without a great quarterback/offensive coordinator Bill is just a great defensive head coach.

Him and DTR are wayyyy underrated. They are day-2 talents, while Stroud and Richardson are wayyyyyy overrated.
This is one of the deepest QB drafts I’ve ever seen.
Young, Levis, McKee, Cunningham, Stroud, O’Connell, DTR are all QBs with day-1 talent, relatively-speaking, in most draft classes. Then add in Haener and Hooker who have the floors of really good backup QBs, Richardson who seems like Taysom Hill at minimum, and Bennett, Duggan and the supremely-underrated Bagent who are insane talents as well…There’s like 11 QBs who should get drafted. Crazy.
Man I liked DTR too even as a ravens fan was rooting for him but he needs a couple more years to develop, I say stroud and Richardson lived up to the hype even the small sample size we got from Richardson he will be just fine in this league

And Stroud stepped up. Though it is turf, and he does have some underrated support. As you know, it’s tough to be a QB in areas like Baltimore, Cleveland, Cinci-even before you get to the team composition.

You’d love to see NE find a way to utilize his athleticism other than the scout team but it’s highly unlikely he is even on the team after a season.
Id like to see him at qb however he’s already said he’s willing to change positions if needed. Who knows tho maybe he’s the next Edelman/Meyers🤷♂️

To be brutally honest with you, I'm here after watching yesterday's preseason game against the Texans, hopefully it's the answer New England is looking for to stop being a common team.
The Eagles should consider this kid if he is still on the board in the 7th round. He would be a good #3 QB to develop. He has RPO familiarity.

I was upset that the Pats did not put a full court press on to get Lamar Jackson because the NFL is all about QBs who can both run and pass - make plays with their feet when everyone is covered or coverage breaks down. Pats don't have that with Mac or Zappe - though Zappe is more stout than Mac but he is not athletic like this young man. Bill obviously nows this so obviously Pats must have targeted this young man, keeping everything on the low down. Could not be more excited. Training Camp should be fun and hoping this young man can take his game to the next level in the NFL!

I don't believe a 2 QB system is what Bill has in mind. I think Bill would like to see if Malik can fulfill 2-3 different roles, including QB#3, scout team QB, possibly become a supercharged Edelman type of receiver, a kick/punt returner, who the hell knows? I will enjoy seeing how it works out. It's gonna be tough to keep him on the 53 though with high ceiling receivers like they drafted.
