Personally I'd say that the strength of Ableton is how insanely intuitive the sample manipulation is and drum racks make this process extremely clunky. Many Ableton producers, including me, prefers that even if it means some processes are a bit more cumbersome.
Wtf are you doing to the audio? I use Logic and doesn’t seem like you can manipulate audio like you did in this video. Like do you have control over the ADRS of the wave form?
3:17 *distorts sub with sample to the point of being almost tearout*
Neddie: dats sounding better
It's for clean the bassline, insted of a Big Drum Drop (on this part)
I think you need to show what's on your master chain before people start mixing all their tracks in +6db and expecting it to sound good xD
Yeah
just a good limiter will do the job for most, maybe ott if you're into that
Modern dubstep prodcers export at +6db and more unironically 🙃
Appreciate it man 🙏🏾💯
that kick trick in the end is really nice, gotta use that someday
Good tips, I’ve always struggled with making drops interesting and fresh within the song
Sorry I'm new but what's he doing at 4:10?
he changed the grid to triplets (CMD+3 on Mac) and then cut the samples to be hitting on the 1 and 3 of the triplet.
@@Bolle128 You're the best
Love this, more arrangement tips please!!
What are you side chaining at 2:05?
kick / snare
How to sidechain kick and snare using midi?
useful, as usual
I think you'd benefit greatly from using MIDI for your drums. The drum rack is such a powerful tool.

I disagree. I use drum racks a lot but this seems like a great workflow.
Nice tips dude
Neddie please show whats on your master channel!!
great video
Thank you! We appreciate your kind words 🤗
RPS never miss

The Minecraft font just blew my mind

He just changed the length of the fade in and fade out of the clip making it shorter and snappier. I’m sure there’s fade control in logic
really basic tips, great for beginners!
Hi nedly
