Honestly, the Strike Freedom itself is still my favorite.And I still think it's really powerful because I mean it seriously took a 5 v 1 take it down three battleships spamming beams and missiles and 2 ace units with anti beam resistance and it wasn't going down easy either.
Don't forget to add the fact that Foundation basically did everything to kill Kira because their queen is jealous to Ulen Hibiki and sees Kira as personal thorn in her life that they went as far as stealing Strike Freedom data to create Black Knight Cal.re.A and learn all Kira's fighting style. Not to mention their mind reading ability. Basically what Kira did was improvising.
I think it's a nice touch that the Strike Freedom was brought back, it's refreshing to see the iconic suit in modern animation striking the same poses. Really nostalgic.
Never cared for the SF but even the tiniest updates too it in GSF makes me appreciate it that much more.... Also I actually liked rising freedom- my favorite freedom to date Not the bootleg justice though I don't understand what makes that one special other then the transformation...
@@Matanumi I have to agree. The Immortal Justice wasn't a good design in terms of actual functionality - it has the least amount of weaponry out of all the Justice variants with no Beam Sabers, no detachable backpack, and Beam Cannons that can only be used in MA mode. Bootleg indeed.
@@Matanumithe Rising Freedom is definitely a nice design, and a solid upgrade over the base Freedom. It's probably superior to the Strike Freedom in atmosphere, since the DRAGOONs can't be used on earth. I love that the HG model can actually transform into flight mode too! 😘👌
@@Gernsbacker Feels like the joke got even brought in universe too with how Shinn remarked that he lost last time because he was piloting Justice. Although he didn't exactly say it, his actions throughout the movie proved how he still dislikes Athrun while giving more respect to Kira.
the reality is probably around half of (tv) anime or more reuse footage, and Seed is a mecha where it's especially warranted (a lot of same actions are taken e.g. take offs, captain's orders, etc.). if anything, i've always adored Seed's stock footage, they are iconic and look great
i think Miighty Strike Freedom isn't greater than standard Strike Freedom, it doesnt have voiture lumiere so it is much slower than standard Strike Freedom and it never fight 2 black knight squad once a time, if it fight both shi-ve a and cal-re a, MSF will be destroyed faster than strike freedom
the mighty sf volture limunere is the particle sphere shield around it, which is the original iteration used by stargazer gundam. if anything the mighty is way faster than standard sf due to wing of light always active compare to dragoon blocking it in the original design. . the aoe EMP even out the fight further by turning it into a skill contest instead of "who has more dragoon and missile"

@@dsupreme4058 correct, Mighty SF doesn't have Volture Lumiere, but it does have an abundance of Mirage Colloid particles. The Mighty/Proud Defender's purpose was to disable any every deemed hostile aircaft/fleet, ending the war with as little casualties as possible.
The Mighty Strike Freedom ditching its DRAGOONs and Voiture Lumiere is worth it because of its impenetrable shield of nanoparticles that were shown to be immune to both beam weaponry and physical projectiles like missiles, then the fact the Disruptor is going to vaporise anyone who Kira and the gang disagree with.
