Most of the time, you will hear this phrase from friends and family whenever you're in a bad place, when things don't go your way. But, no one will tell this to you when something good happens, when you're on a roll, when luck is on your side. Truth is, nothing lasts forever. Nothing is for granted.
Here are some patch notes:
The first voice comes from the Instruo Neoni. I'm mixing a few waves with the 1U Quadratt, and I bring them in and out to change the timbre. One wave I'm sending through the 1U comparator from Ritual Electronics with some modulation, and another wave is going through the 1U switch, also from Ritual Electronics, to get an octave down version of it. The mixed signal is going through the Instruo Vinca VCA, and the Befaco Rampage generates an envelope to open this VCA. This voice is sequenced by the Arturia Keystep Pro.
The bass comes from the Instruo Saich. It's going through the Vorg filter from Vult. Also the bass is sequenced by the Keystep Pro.
Another voice is coming from the TsL. I'm mixing a few waves with the Befaco STMix, and this is going through the Vult Freak filter. I'm also sending white noise to the filter's cutoff CV to add some grit. It's sequenced by the Voltage Block.
The melody is coming from the Make Noise STO. It's going through the Noise Engineering Desmodus Versio, from there, to the 1U distortion module from Ritual Electronics, and from there to another Freak filter from Vult. This voice is also sequenced by the Keystep Pro.
The arp is coming from the Noise Engineering BIA. It's sequenced by the Keystep Pro and there's random modulation on its decay time.
I have some noise recorded on Arbhar that I bring in every now and then.
I have 2 macro controllers set. One is the 2HP fader from Instruo, which controls the wave folding on neoni, and the second one is the Intellijel Planar 2 which changes the timbre of the STO, brings in the blend amount on the Desmodus Versio, and opens the Vorg filter to bring in the bass.
Everything is going to Bitwig through the ES9 for multitrack recording and additional delays and reverbs.
