If you followed how they reacted, far from it 😅 besides, what else can they do? Just dive in the ocean and give up? Just forced to move and instead of understanding the situation they attempted to sue the government who was trying to protect them...
Thanks Román. I hope that they can save the farm, plus the water pipes, and that the lava doesn't reach the sea this time. The situation is bad enough for everyone in the area already. The thoughts of thousands of viewers are with those people.
Thank you for these updates! Your drone shots from just prior, with your narration, are helpful in figuring out the precise location. I do hope all the berms hold, and that they can save the farm. It's a good thing the flow is slowing down. Try to get some rest and we'll see what the morning brings. 💚🇮🇸🍀
You really SHOULD have news credentials! You are our primary source of our news about the eruptions in Iceland. All of us rely on your reporting. As always, we are very grateful for the information you provide. When I read of the latest eruption on CNN, I immediately came to your channel to get the best coverage. You do great work and we really appreciate your reporting and your commentary. Thanks again for such good work.
Sir your channel just keeps improving thank you. Edit::; the good news is there was very little seismic activity associated with the magma that's why it came up so much faster that could be a good indication.
I remember you in Palma Island in Las Canaries covering the eruption which destroyed farms on the way to the sea. There is a stronger downhill gradient there and they could not build lava walls.
Thank you for the updates. I have always wanted to visit Iceland, and still hope to do so, such a fascinating country. I have been watching your excellent videos and updates since the first eruption at Fagradalsfjall and the La Palma eruption. Your commentary is always informative and your drone footage is fantastic. Thank you, greetings and blessings from England.
During the first eruption they were worried about the little house there I can’t remember? Like a fish house or something? Isn’t that it there by the road closer to Grindavek? Thanks glad everyone is still managing to dodge the lava flows !
Whoa!?!?! approachig the ocean AND hitting the Blue Lagoon AND Grindavik walls?!?! That seems way more mobile than the last few eruptions. Can't wait to see the daylight videos (tho I guess, technically, I have to!)
09:46 - 7 hours late, but Roman it would be great if you could pin the areas where the cameras (Cam 1,2,3,4 & etc) are situated, like cam 4 seems to be attached to a concrete structure with one other camera to the right of it looking through its lens. TY again for the information, graphics, and levees locations (L12, L13 & etc.), shame the area officials grounded private drones last night (always look forward to yours and Gylfi's to give us all an aerial tour). Keep up the great work, stay safe y'all!
As the lava flows stretch into the ocean on both flanks of Grindavik, over the next few decades or centuries, Grindavik will become a sheltered seaport protected by peninsulas on both flanks of the town.
I hope you will be pleased with what you see in daylight, that the walls did their job and no homes or infrastructure have been damaged. Hopefully the Blue Lagoon can reopen as soon as access is restored.

Was expecting more after 5h sleep, surprised it hasn't hit water yet. But glad as everything seems holding! Wouldn't it be amazing when it is just stays this way? I mean the road is a bummer but looks like nothing else got hurt?!
Geez.. Lucky they had all those solar-powered excavators and bulldozers to build that diversion wall... Fossil fuels to the rescue of humanity, yet again... ;)

Wow the resilience of the Icelandic people is amazing. Praying for the farm and all of your people.
I admire the resiliance of the icelandic people. Never give up! And rightful so.
Yeah say that when the peninsula collapses. Sometimes it's smarter to throw in the towel..
@@DanFilkins-s5p Do you know how big the peninsula is? Lol.
@@DanFilkins-s5p Tell that to the californians, too. They are constantly at risk of earthquakes and wildfires. They should just leave.

Prayers for Siggy's farm at Hrahn
So impressive to see how the berms are doing their job. Thanks for the update. Still watching from New Zealand.
Get some rest!

May they succeed in saving the farm! It's amazing how fast the fissures opened and how far the lava traveled in such a short time!
Praying to all God's to keep the farm, the pipes, the power plant safe 🙏🏼🍀🤞🍀🙏🏼

Thank you for your very thorough report!
Thanks for the update! The map narration was so helpful in understanding the geographic location of the newest lava flow.
Thank you Roman - glad to have more actual information instead of yet more generic photos of fire fountains. Hope E Grindavik and Hraun are safe.
Sir your channel just keeps improving thank you.

Thank you for all the updates and information. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks for the info, especially the drone footage! Best wishes from Germany

Thank you for your update. It seems like we have worried aabout the farm previously. Stay safe and get some sleep. Blessings!!!

again we think and remember our Visit Icelnad and BLUE LAGOON in 2009 with EURODAM.

Beauty in natural power!
If lava reaches the ocean it will block the coastal road to Grindavik until it cools enough to build a road on top of the new lava field.
Could the lack of pre-quakes be because the new eruption used "former" pathways, therefore not finding as much resistance?
I hope the farm can be saved. Are there any animals there?
Good to see the walls are holding and the flow is slowing best of luck
Nature is amazing at the same time it can be so destructive. Stay safe

I don’t think it’s decreasing. I think it’s spread out more, so it needs to be taller to spread out more. So it’s the same volume.
Yes, what kind of farm is it? Can you show us any pictures?
I hope you will be pleased with what you see in daylight, that the walls did their job and no homes or infrastructure have been damaged. Hopefully the Blue Lagoon can reopen as soon as access is restored.

👍
If they’re solar powered then zero fossil fuels were used, so no rescue from fossil fuels at all.

Maybe you are on the wrong site. Your linguistic skills are sadly lacking.
His English very good.
@@static-audio I'm not saying your English is bad. It's your pronunciation. It sounds like you learned it from watching Hollywood movies.
