Gerald Hocken Knight CBE (1908--1979) was an cathedral organist, who served at Canterbury Cathedral. Wikipedia N.B. Incorrectly attributed to Nicholson previously.
Indeed to Thy name (God) be glory for ever. Who is like thee? None!
Wonderful chant. May God continue to bless you, choir. I fill the Holy Spirit within me listening to this chant. It is so angelic and eternal. May God continue to be glorified forever in His Holy Throne. Thanks for uploading; please kindly upload Psalm 147 chant for our worship. God bless.
LOL Our favorite song for the nice and talentuous theologians (male and female) from Anglican and Roman catholic !!! lol Thanks to share the beauty of the song with those voices from the country of late paternal grand Mummy, Flacee Williams ... XOX

Hi, thanks very much for the Psalms.
This should be sung in the open public spaces, 10 feet apart !
Praise Be To Almighty God. I LOVE you God. You are Awesome, Wonderful. One of my favorites. Put your trust in the Lord. Amen
Yes, this is GK Knight's setting. I have sung it many times.
Please can you share the SATB score?
Hello Shrinktravis, I am grateful for the correction.
Psalm 115
1 Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.
2 Why do the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.
4 But their idols are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
5 They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
6 They have ears, but cannot hear,
noses, but cannot smell.
7 They have hands, but cannot feel,
feet, but cannot walk,
nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
8 Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.
9 All you Israelites, trust in the Lord-
he is their help and shield.
10 House of Aaron, trust in the Lord-
he is their help and shield.
11 You who fear him, trust in the Lord-
he is their help and shield.
12 The Lord remembers us and will bless us:
He will bless his people Israel,
he will bless the house of Aaron,
13 he will bless those who fear the Lord-
small and great alike.
14 May the Lord cause you to flourish,
both you and your children.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
16 The highest heavens belong to theLord,
but the earth he has given to mankind.
17 It is not the dead who praise the Lord,
those who go down to the place of silence;
18 it is we who extol the Lord,
both now and forevermore.
Praise the Lord.[a]
He's my help and defender
To prostrate our hearts before such an AUGUST BEING, ought to be man's normal posture!!
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
THIS CHANT IS USED FOR PSALM 119 (57-64)
Your cellphone (mobile) must be nearby, I hear telemetry incoming..and this is NOT Nicholson. It is Gerald Knight in G (pitched a half-step higher-typical King's)!
