My #1 swanee---johnny jones. Very underrated. His voice is legendary. I wish someone would do a special on him. How can AUGUSTA GA NOT RECOGNIZE HIS TALENT. LIKE SAM COOKE & JOHNNY TAYLOR He also was the frontman for the hall of fame gospel group THE SOUL STIRRERS AS WELL AS THE SWANEES & a number of other things. I wonder do Johnny have any kids around or other family members?
I knew Johnny and his sisters and brothers one of his sisters and I worked together in the medical profession.His niece and I was in the same church. The list goes on.one of the members was my relative.Rufus.Big Red was my taxi driver.lol
