I can’t lie I was in denial when I heard the news but now it seems all but confirmed. I’m upset. However I’m grateful for all he’s done for us. 101 points and champions of league 1 and finalists in the Papa Johns trophy (we don’t talk about the result😅) I hope this doesn’t affect us negatively in the Championship but time will tell, for now I thank Schuey for all his hard work to get us where we are and good luck to him for the future
It seems highly likely that he`ll look to bring back-room staff and players with him to Stoke,so that will have some impact on Plymouth.Like those managers we`ve appointed since relegation who`ve all been paid on high salaries,(Neil the highest paid outside the Premier league)the job at Stoke has proven too big a challenge.Obviously,I hope Schumacher does well, but he`s third choice at best(after Potter and Nuno Sanchez declined),inexperienced, and coming to a club with higher expectations and suffering 6 years of stagnation/decline.For me,it smacks of Nathan Jones`disasterous time at the club.
If he goes, he goes ....there are a few reasonable managers out there at the moment so we might as well get used to the idea he wasn't going to stay for ever; lets get a decent amount of compensation from Stoke and get someone in asap.....that's the mercenary (or greedy) world of football we now live with 😞
If you can get the same or similar for less it is not economic sense to pay more -- by your comment I assume your level of expertise on requisition of human resources is rather limited @@joebee1558
One more comment on Schuey leaving......I wonder if he knows about..Grass is Greener and all that.....my take on it is simple.....he probably wanted a whole bucket load of money to spend during the January transfer window.....and maybe he didn't get what he wanted so panicked, over thinking the position Argyle are in both football wise and financially (which is not too bad) and decided to jump ship at the first opportunity....time will tell whether he will have made the right career move. I would assume Simon Hallett & Co will have a contingency plan for such an event, I sincerely hope so !!
Another management betrayal. Could have stayed until the end of the season at least. Today I’m angry and so disappointed. Grateful for what he’s done for us but utterly deflated. This is going to rumble around the terraces and now we will be fighting for survival. Once the club loses the crowd support its curtains I’m afraid.
Stoke! WTF? Thought Shuey had ambition. Fuckall in Stoke to please the family. Better paid jobs would have fallen for him in far better places. What a dull club to go to. Shocked and stunned. In the words of Led Zeppelin, dazed and confused.
Schuey leaving for Stoke feels like a kick in the bollocks , the story of Argyle right there , the first sign of anyone doing well and there off ... same old story ... geographical location will be 1 of the reasons it always is .... now let's not get a muppet like Bobby Williamson in ...

One day, long from now, Argyle will be yuuuuuge, with a very wealthy owner. But don't hold your breath, several hundred years will pass first, at least.
Welcome to Stoke,Schmacher. You`ll already know what the club is all about and the massive expectations and pressures that come with the job.I hope you can handle it,but I expect you`ll be on the scrap heap in 12 months time.I think the job will be too big for you.I hope you prove me wrong.
He was still learning with Argyle who were prepared to give him all the time he needed. Even if we got relegated he’d still have a job here. Now he’s going to have to turn Stoke around is no time with limited CH experience. He got a case of believing in the hype about himself. Good riddance.
@@adamcarter2979I’m kinda with you at this point. I can understand no loyalty if you think your club will sack you after a few bad results but absolutely everyone at Argyle were completely behind Schumacher
@@Baldcafe Worse still, not a peep from him thanking the Green Army for their massive support and backing. My other fear is that he might start calling players and disrupting the squad, if he hasn't already.
The team spirit is fantastic to see, what a great team to watch.COYG
Schuey, don't leave for Stoke ffs!!
Are there rumours?

How did that assault on Bundu merit only a yellow? Disgraceful.

Yes at least stay till the end of the season but unfortunately money talks and no loyalty in football anymore cash and results only 💚
