Not sure what you mean by pesky so, if you want to catch them, free lining crabs and mullet seemed to be working. If you don’t wanna catch them, just use a decent amount of weight and fish bottom. That’s what we did and we only got picked up by a tarpon once. Hope that helps 🤙🏼
The were pesky because they wouldn't eat anything I threw at them, but I don't fish live bait, just flies and the occasional soft plastic.@@RukusFishing
Oh I gotcha, well fly fishing is way outside my realm, but as far as soft plastics go, I would just throw 5”+ hogeys or the NLBNs I know those work real well.
So any suggestions on those pesky juvenile tarpon that hang out there?
