- At 6 PM on a weeknight Amanda and I, along with family members decide to check out Seattle’s newest food court, Asean StrEAT - a Southeast Asian Food Hall.
Southeast Asian Food Hall located in downtown Seattle (at Westlake Center) featuring street eats food cart style serving favorite menus from Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. I tried the Hainanese chicken rice, fish sauce chicken and other dishes and enjoyed them all. This place is a beehive of street food carts and is worth a visit!

Regret leaving Seattle before it got dark. Appears to have a whole different feeling at night there. Next time may have to try this restaurant you and family ate at. Looks very appealing😊

Yeah this place is pricey! Thanks for reviewing this place Dennis I mean the portions are huge though like 2-3 pax could share them so splitting the cost of a dish is reasonable ^_^
It’s a fun place for the vibes, the presentation and definitely to introduce ASEAN cuisine to those unfamiliar with it.

Hey Dennis, the Times has a review up of Sabai Sabai in Lynwood. Sounds good but before I drive all the way to Lynwood I need to get Lao Ocean seal of approval.
I made it to Seattle this past Wednesday. Staying in a red roof inn for now. Will look for a permanent place when my car arrives.

Glad to see you all enjoyed your night out! As far as food authenticity is concerned, the "yakisoba", which literally means "fried soba (buckwheat noodles)" not cup noodles, was embarrassingly inauthentic and overpriced. The fried rice looked tasty though.
Yeah totally agree that is waaay overpriced!
