The reason why plushies like the Xiao one come without clothing is actually so that people can sew/knit custom clothes for the dolls themselves if they'd like! A lot of talented people actually make and sometimes even sell really cute and detailed clothing. There are a lot of adorable pics out there of what people have made! ^^
