Was with the British Army in Iserlohn back in the 50's. Cannot recognise anything! Perhaps he was driving too fast! But it was happy memories of a pleasant town with nice people! I wish the town well!
From what I could see, it appeared that the buildings and other things like curbs, bridges, etc., were all very well-maintained, and not in the decrepit condition we often see similar surroundings here in the States. -Eric, US
LOL gurgix, but in more seriousness it is probably more a result of urban sprawl which has left older neighborhoods in decline and also caused cities to have expanded far beyond their ability to maintain regulation and infrastructure, compounded by all the disparity in social-economic relationships we have here.
