To be fair, I imported this from the Wii, however I had to build all the collision for the track which is why I put this map off for so long. Really enjoying these imports as it allows me to bring some nostalgia but add my own spice and twist to each one :D
This map looks beautiful, and just like the original. I can't wait to try it.

@Carlo Bassetti, that argument is really odd, it’s taking me a while to understand the logic behind it. Just because a game is centered around a certain theme or genre, doesn’t mean it’s forbidden from occasionally branching out and trying new things, even if it’s just temporary.

Jacco van Tricht The MK8 version has a few differences such as the drift on the finish line has that drop off to the left that has a boost pad. Also there’s a bunch more villages in the rock formations as well
Yo let’s is there a way that you could make a video on a tutorial on how to start creating maps because I really want to start and I’m sure there are a bunch of other people that would want to do it too. This would be a big help to me. Luv ur vids❤️

This reminds me more of Revolt from Nintendo 64. It was remote controlled car physics with all abilities based on actually hitting the other racers. It was super difficult lol

Revolt was one of my favorite childhood games. But you are right I do remember it being very hard. Computer Adeon can suck it
Google for "RVGL". It's a community made remake of Re-Volt in OpenGL for PCs running Windows or Linux.
Someone should make a Mario Kart in rocket league where you try to get the ball to the finish line/goal before the others, and the lucky blocks can be boost pads with a mystery boost amount. And the gliding can be unlimited boost for a couple of seconds so you can do air dribbles. And you can fit in rumble power ups every 20 seconds

You should do points instead like in mario kart. 10 points for first, 8 for second, etc. and add up the team points. This way there could be more strategy about prioritizing placing first or helping other teammates. Because right now it’s just a race to not place last so there’s no real reward for placing first
It’s usually 15 points for first but still yeah that’d be fun

Imagine if Psyonix hired you. For real, they haven’t done anything new for like 1,5 year. There’s so much potential, a race mode with tweaked rumble items that you get from item boxes, a free for all mode (1v1v1v1), there could be rings maps but with more polish and a leaderboard, you could have the one where you die on zero boost and also I think they should have these modes in rotation so it doesn’t get stale. Kind of like how the shop items rotate, one that rotates each day, one each two days and one each week. Kind of makes me sad how much they don’t do.
Why does everyone say they are first when they arent

Google's servers are all over the world so it takes time for them to all synchronize. So it may look like they're first from the perspective of their server even though someone already commented on another server and it hasn't been synched yet.
Wario is my fav character this is the best map u have done dude you are amazing
you should do a version of this where you win or lose based on your team standing. so for instance, if you got 1st, but your teammates got 4th and 6th, 1+4+6=11, so 11 would be your team score. the other team would have then placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, 2+3+5=10, which means the other team technically wins because they have a better score. so even though you may get 1st place you could still lose because your team didnt pick up the slack. its golf rules, so the lower score is better. i feel like this would make for a great video, mainly because, if you turn on friendly fire in BakkesMod or whatever, you could have some pretty nutty team tactics. like idk, you could boost your teammate with the boot to make sure he gets 1st or something.
As a Mario Kart Wii player, this map does this stage some justice, it looks amazing and is really accurate! (I do realize its based off of Mario Kart 8, but still)
Jaymerzi I wonder how many people actually realized that it’s from Mario Kart 8. There is only a few differences, one of them having the change in the curve of entering the mine

Just might be tricky to fix any anti cheat stuff. I guess you could just put a bunch of boundaries to stop people flying around/behind the goal line and driving back through it should just kill your car and put your back infront.

If you're in alst you get screwed. None of the power ups do anything from far behind. Also I didn't know about the short cut. There was also a bug that kept pushing me off the map after the dip
A great version of this game would be to play a "secret service" game mode where only 1 person per team needs to complete the laps and the other 2 on each team need to work to protect their driver and try to mess up the other driver. The agents still need to drive/race in the correct direction

I remember when they hinted about Rumble as a new gamemode and I got so excited thinking it was going to be something like Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing. Rumble is fun but compared to what I thought it was going to be, I was shattered. They so need a gamemode like this in Rocket League.

Lol can't win a race without cutting corners on a map YOU made the collisions for. Sorry, but hard to enjoy the video when clearly you aren't enjoying yourself unless you are winning. I think you for your next map release, you should only spectate and do commentary. I have been watching your videos for 2 years.. C'mon man, this was funny, and a good laugh.. But honestly don't even see most of the race because you insist on being in the lead and taking a shortcut that involves skipping part of the map, rather than adding to it. Sorry, this video wasn't for me, hope the next one is better..

An idea for another video... have a normal field with 2 balls... can mess around with the size of the balls... but have a heatseeker and a normal ball... would literally give u no time to try going for demos... if either ball goes in would be a goal.. could probly mess around with point gains to... like giving the heatseeker ball 1 point the normal ball like 5 points for the team that scores... my idea for that was quidich from Harry potter... how they've got the 2 balls they needa worry about...

I assume it's not possible, but you should be able to recycle powerups you can't use.
This is what rocket racing should have been (and should be part of rocket league, not Fortnite). Maybe with some existing and new power ups...

It should be possible to reprogram the boost power to give it to yourself instead. It's already a questionable power in normal rumble mode, but in a race it's obviously bad.

I think many people would appreciate non-swearing videos, rocket league caters to a younger audience and maps like these even more and it doesn't fit the type of video this is
You could use projection mapping to the ground and maybe add bump to it and maybe like a giftbox for a random powerup like mario cart. It would be a great map to play.

Leth, when you were in the tunnel with the three boost pads, why didn’t you just boost all the way through as you would’ve still been at 100 boost bc of the boost pad at the end of the tunnel?
