I know I’m not the first to mention this but you should watch the clayface episodes those are probably the best episodes this show has to offer IMO I knew you liked the BTAS clayface episodes and these are just as good but obviously very different too.
They missed a trick by havinf Dracula entombed in Gotham for a century, but without saying that his evil presence is the reason the city was so screwed up.
The Batman is a surprisingly good show. I went into it expecting to hate it (and I still didn't care for the Joker in it), but it was solid. Kelley Jones, the artist on the book, was a big draw for me in the 90s Batman comics, especially his awesome Knightfall covers.
Batman and Dracula are both bat-themed, theatrically dressed, nocturnal, and have capes. Dracula is a Gothic horror novel, so sending his casket to Gotham city makes perfect sense!
The artist did a Frankenstein book, and it's on another level. I loved this comic as a kid, but it was hardback only, so I had to save up for almost a year.
This was slightly more adult than the series it was based on but still pretty good. I hope for an Elseworlds movie with a nice budget and distinct look.
My head cannon is that Vanhelsing defeated Dracula in the flashback cause i always thought if he was so powerful how were they able to beat him in the past but Batman struggled to do so lol
Mad Monk is great! It was like the third issue predates literally ALL of his rogues. He had a gorilla as a servant, and murdered Bruce’s fiancé. Bruce kills him with a gun. It’s buck wild.
@@HackTheMoviesthey must've changed the opening for streaming because I remember exactly near zero lyrics for The Batman in the theme because they kept that theme for every season and it was fast paced electronic music.
This was the last cartoon i remember seeing on Kids WB. They did indeed do a tv airing i think for Halloween, and i remember being amazed by how much blood was actually spilled.
I do like Batman vs. Dracula and The Batman animated series. But I have a hard time with how Joker is portrayed in both. Dreads and barefoot is not my favorite Joker look.
So if I’ve remembered this right there a animated film or they were shorts called justice league gods and monsters set in an alternate universe where Manbat is literally a vampire Batman
I think Dracula can turn into a man-bat creature because at one point in the movie when Alfred is looking up the legend of Dracula on the bat computer you can see Dracula as a giant bat creature about to attack/ feed on a woman in her bedroom so it's heavily implied Dracula can turn into a gigantic man bat creature but he just doesn't.
This is one of my favorite movies, I watch it every Halloween. I love the joker scene where he gets covered in blood and the animation style is gorgousb
I ran across an 80s anime on TH-cam that was the wildest Dracula media I've ever seen. I can't remember what it's called. But God and Satan are major characters with speaking roles.
Never thought I'd see you do this one Tony. Honestly, The Batman was a fun show (obviously The Animated Series was never going to be topped and this always was in it's shadow.) and this was a pretty fun movie. Hell, so fun, I wrote fanfiction of this movie and by extension the show itself. #shamelessselfpromotion 😅
Because if it's not Superman and it's not Batman most people aren't going to pay attention to it if it is dc. Therefore they try to match their two main characters up against all sorts of things to drag other people in as customers

10:50 - That's exactly what it is. Lazy writing. And that's why most low budget movies are garbage. Not because lack of budget, but because lack of talent. I find a crescent moon much spookier than a full moon. Castlevania has always gotten this.
Was thinking about when I was in Filmography and we had I Am Legend come out so our teacher had us watch The Omega Man Charlton Heston Then I Am Legend Will Smith have you ever thought of doing a comparative review between the two?
Also Dracula says they're the same because they are rich men who are active at night and use bat imagery/motif to scare people. Plus both are considered legends, they have a lot of parallels with each other that the film presents.

Fun Fact: This is Vicki Vale's one and only appearance in The Batman's Continuity. She never appeared before or after this.
Uhhh Batman 89'
@@projectionreflection5475 That's not in this show's continuity
They missed a trick by havinf Dracula entombed in Gotham for a century, but without saying that his evil presence is the reason the city was so screwed up.
They have Dracula turn into a bat briefly, not on screen, but when Dracula leaves Wayne Manor and Bruce goes after him, we see the Bat flying away
Also, one of the best "I'm Batman" moments.
"I'm the Batman, and you're dust."

I love Kelley Jones 90s Batman art. It's very detailed and yet emersed in the shadows
Best Batman imo
Tony was really snubbed at the Oscars for his performance in The Dark C#%& Rises. A real tear-jerking performance.
There was apparently supposed to be a sequel but it was cancelled.
@33:16 Tony...Morbious in the Spider-man animated series drank *PLASMA*, not energy....Plasma can be donated just like blood can.

Which version of the theme was it Tony for the The Batman show? I like the first opening, the one without lyrics as it's rather creepy sounding.

Peter Stormare plays Draculas right-hand vampire in the Castlevania animated series. He's always fantastic.
