You give me renewed interest in getting out in the wild with the dogs...You have a nice aura about you, you give off a really nice positive energy...Thanks for that girl...
Psychosomatics Start believing in yourself - You will conquer ALL 😉
The only person ever stopping you is YOU. Love every minute!!
Thanks for your nice video. Enjoyed watching it very much. Have a wonderful day.
Nice one, awesome video 😀👍👏
Thanks for this video Muddy Bootlaces, really uplifting and made me want to get out doors this spring
Thanks for sharing! You have such amazing energy that I always find myself smiling as I watch your videos. Consider me inspired! 😁❤️
Best wishes and happy journeys on your 1400-mile adventure! ❤
Great video and have a fantastic adventure walking the Jogle,,
great watch as always Beca! Good luck for the 1400 miles , absolute nutter 😂 Be a trip of a lifetime ✌
Becca mate you're brilliant! So lovely to watch, the amount of effort you put into your videos is great to see. All that walking past the camera and tripod to then go down the hill you've already walked up is pure commitment! Please keep making these videos because they're so watchable!
I wish you all the best for your walk down the UK. 😎🤟
Awwww thank you lovely! Those walkbys defintily add a few extra steps to the miles 😂😂
This has probably already been said but that tent has a diffuser strip to put lights in at the top to the same effect as your little bag. Cool nonetheless
Lovin' your work, great energy and attitude. It's good to see you doing vegan trail recipes, a nice distinction from the other hiking and wild camping TH-camrs that I follow.
I’m hiking the SWCP at some point next month from Weymouth to Old Harrys Rock. Bring on the warmer times. Laptop closed and watching this now 🫵🏻👌🏻
@@muddy_bootlaces will be doing some adventures in cornwall in summer. Last time I bikepacked down your way I broke my collarbone 🤦🏻♂️😂. Hopefully different outcome this time.
Look forward to seeing the jogle adventure, and for sure I will come hook up with ya on that adventure at some point. That tent looks decent btw
Enjoy your hike Bootlaces! Amazing stuff! I will definitely follow your progress!
I am super excited and slightly sad at your announcement.
I was supposed to be doing the same thing this year (with a very similar mileage) but I got long covid (post viral fatigue) and can currently barely walk for more than 20 mins without being exhausted. I don't want to share my route publicly because I'm still hoping I can do it in the future, and am thinking safety first. lol.
Your announcement made me sad because I wish I was doing it, but also excited because I'm looking forward to living vicariously through your videos, and prepping myself to (hopefully 🤞) do it next year.
Good luck, and I hope it is amazing. 💜
Heya lovely, just seen this... I'm so sorry you've been struggling lately, I really hope soon you're able to get the energy up to get a long hike in, even if it's not the jogle. You seem to have the passion and love for the trail, so im sure you'll get back on there. Rooting for you mate 🤙
@@muddy_bootlaces Thank you.
Even if I can just get a few overnight or 2-3 nights in this summer I will be happy. Anything that makes me feel I'm not completely at zero.
💜😊 xox
You are so nice to watch, the smiles the chat and just bloody wicked
I enjoyed hearing your brief account of having walked the SWCP. Looks like a really great pack for so many miles to come! I wish you all the very best with your JOGLE adventure and thank you for sharing.
Awwww thanks olly! Can't believe it's actually happening so soon, maybe catch you on the trail as some point
Awesome video Becca, fantastic to see your bubbly enthusiasm about wild camping, great ambassador, look forward to more, ref what bag to take on your UK trek, imo look at the Rab Ascent 1100 inside a sea to summit event compression bag, if finances allow, also sealskins waterproof socks or Armaskin socks to combat blisters.
Take care and thanks for sharing. 😊👍
Thoroughly enjoyed that vlog Beca. Keep up the fantastic content. Good luck with your JOGLE. I'm travelling to Scotland myself on Friday. Taking on the Cape Wrath Trail.
Enjoy your epic adventure.
John.
Omg I was thinking of starting with that, but chickened out. Good luck mate youll smash it!
I really look forward to your videos! You're so cute! I wish you luck on your upcoming hike and stay safe!
Hi Becca. Really enjoyed watching this one. Good luck on the big one ! Hope the weather is on your side. Btw, the fish on the beach was a trigger fish. Quiet common along the south coast
Ace x
Got yourself a new subscriber after your videos keep getting recommended
Girl you're the rock chick of hiking & stealth camping 🤘
Such a breath of fresh air & inspiration to watch
On my favourite stretch of coastline for this one ❤
Looking forward to the exciting up coming adventures! You'll smash it I'm sure 💥
Ace watch you legend the food looked yummy cant wait to see you do the long long hike we know you'll boss it and the views just wow the tent looks good too atb freddy outdoors yessssssiiiii
@@muddy_bootlaces no I'm waiting for the lavvu on the farm in September the festival are too far south for me
Totally captivating & really enjoyed watching this one the most
so far...👊 U's a proper funny crazy chick & more great to watch U so happy in such beautiful places... It really is a learning curve to develop/obtain the right kit to suit Ur needs, environment, weather, time of year etc... I had me a little & seriously cheap camping retail therapy last night & it arrived today...!😯 How good is that...?!!!😄🎉 Best wishes with Ur future plans & I've no doubt that it will be EPIC...! PS: As long as ya tents well zipped, just try to think of light rain while the Sand Fly's R banging there heads & have a nice restful sleep...🙏👍❤...
Hahaha yes, it's why I chose tents ojver tarps. Zip me iip and keep me away from anything that can crawl, jump or bite 🤣🤣
Great video Becca, as always. That new kit looks nice. As for your concern about the tent stakes pulling out in the sand, I've carried empty bags in my pack and filled them with sand to weigh down the stake. Worked for me and then just dump the sand out. I'm a side sleeper like you and we didn't have the best sleeping bags when I was in the military all those years ago, but I always carried a poncho liner with me to go in the bag with me. Very light weight and compactable. Was great. I don't know what would compare to that in the civilian terminology. But something you could look into. Good luck on your new adventure, hope your feet last on it. You're looking fabulous by the way. Sta safe and take care. ❤
Omg that's a genius idea... You may havw just saved me in a windy situation!! Thanks dude
Awesome video! Beautiful scenery and views. Super funny. New follower here. Great channel. Crow✌️
Hahaha cheers for following buddy! Next video should hopefully come from the jogle!!
Really enjoyed this.... Think I might give the beaches a go in the north west...
Awww good luck, it's lush although the wet sand is annoying to shake from the kit 😂😂
12:01 😂 - you tell that mozzy where to go Becca 🤣
Hey Muddy great vid 👍
On the cold sleeping problem your having ill give you my hack 😂
I use a comfort 4c limit -2c bag but also take a Sea to Summit reactor sleeping bag liner , I find in summer I can mainly get away with the liner and a base layer but always have the bag there if needed ...... BTW this combo does me all year around and I'm in Scotland 🤟
Ah yeah I was thinking of that, bht they are quite heavy so if I do that, I might aswell take a warmer bag 😂😂
You, I mean the tent is very cute :-)
Sand flies are minging, it's the creepy noise they make flicking off your tent 🤢 nice relaxed dune pitch though & I'll be interested to hear how you get on with your new tent. Great news regarding your long distance hike, that'll be an amazing thing to accomplish. Also I get the same problem with being a side sleeper and my sleeping bag having more fill on the front. I went for an alpaca wool sleeping bag liner :)
Yeahhhhh the dramas of trying to find a good, lightweight side bag hey?! Thanks for your kind words x
Becca, bless your sandy bootlaces, you’re an inspiration to all of us campers and walkers, good luck next week 😊👍🏽⛺️♥️
... Love the energy ... Everyone needs a "Dingle - Dangle" light ... ... What ?? Sippin' a coffee from a Pink Cup ?! .. Is that Allowed ?? ..
Bleddy 'ansome video. I love your enthusiasm and bright persona. Got to say tho......I can't believe that a Cornish maid spent 26 quid on a bag that you can't even fit a pasty ( veggie of course) into !! 😂 just kidding, if it works it's money we'll spent
Those eyes
Solution for a warmer sleep would be to simply get a bivi bag!
Just found you today. Enjoying this video now. A novice but hoping to do my first wild coastal camp this year in N Ireland.
If I may ask, have you ever had any unpleasant experiences while coastal camping? Authorities or locals?
Thoroughly enjoying on my day off. Very informative. Thankyou for posting🙂
Hats off for your JOGLE intentions..but you know that in general it takes between TWO and THREE months to complete this odyssey ..right ? however seeing you're as fit as the proverbial butcher's dog I'm sure you'll find a way. Good luck.
PS I live on the route and am prepared to let you camp in my back garden for the night.
I have a charging cable taped to my battery so it never gets lost or forgotten.
Great video..was wondering how long it will take for you to walk from Lands End to Jonn o'groats?
I'm thinking about 3 months once I add in some rest days, doing about 1400 miles, so 20 miles a day with 2 rest days every 7(?) seems anout right x
Alpkit Myti cru 💪If you have a Ninja Air Fryer or similar you can dehydrate food in those
Hello muddy , great video , I've not seen a stealth camp on a beach before and with that sunset , looks wonderful. You did make me chuckle with your Yorkshire accent mentioning Gordon Ramsay and you grow with what you love and you have grown magnificently. In a couple of years I'm hoping to do a camping tour around the Isle of Arran , are you in a group walking from John o Groats ? And what timespan are you looking at ?
Heya lovely, aw that food was lush! Going solo on the jogle, but might meet up with some people along the way. My friend Mark did the isle of arran, said it was absolutely wonderful!
@@muddy_bootlaces the best of luck to you on your epic journey, I'm jealous cause I've always wanted to do it too. Be vigilant, take care , safe travels me lady.
Lovely video Becky, as my wife said, you ooze with positivity and that is what its all about. Keep em videos coming!
Nothing worse than a floppy fork! Loved the video Beca, good luck on your epic series. I'll be watching.
I think I am suitable for beach camping??
Always full of positivity, great personality hard not to subscribe too someone like this. Enjoy your epic trip:) your subscribers will be behind you all the way. Thanks for sharing it with us:)
Great video Becca, you always bring a smile to my face. I love your enthusiasm and your fantastic personality. Take care on your massive hike adventure and stay safe. I look forward to seeing the vids, but be careful lovely lady 😊😊
No boops ☹️
We fear change 😮
Hey, what's wrong with a Mountain Warehouse sleeping-bag? That's what I've got. It's chuffing roasting too.
@@muddy_bootlaces Out of curiosity, what was the one you had? Mine is a Summit 250. Supposedly, it's good comfort-wise down to -1C.
Legal fund for Dartmoor 50,000 pounds??
Yeahhhhh buddy, and there's about another 50k of funding from external bodies too... Its awesome 🤙
Drop me a message if you end up on the Yorkshire wolds along your mammoth hike ill join you for a couple of hours mate its been a while be good to catch up 👍
I have to admit that I totally forgot that you started your TH-cam jorney quite resently. That is amaszeballs really. Of course I follow you in Instagram also.
Btw. I woke up this morning under a tarp at 0 degrees with carinthia def 1 (+3 conf. ). But I had 3 layers of merino on me. Felt like a Michelin man, but i was warm (and stiff). 😅
Omg that sounds colddddd... I swear even though the skies have gotten warmer, the nights don't seem to have caught up!
what a spot awesome!
will you be taking us along for your epic trip?
I've always liked the idea of lejog but doing the whole swcp and Wales coast path and as many long distance trails as I can on route. now all I need is a year off work lol. are you doing the Ridgway on your trip by any chance? I live up road from ivanhoe beacon which is start or end of the trail. I'll air drop you a food/ goody bag package for your travels lol.
boop!
Heya lovely, ahhh I'm hoping to.. Might not be the best quality as I'll still be recording and editing on my phone.. But it would be good to show everyone how awesome the trail is! Not sure on my route yet, but don't think the ridgeway is in it... Hopefully you are able to blag a bit of time off and hike again soon x
Hey you beautiful lot! Thanks for clicking and watching along... As always, a little technological apology, as this seems to have uploaded with a lot of saturation... But I'm not sure how to change it 😂 big love to you all ❤️
