Pickleball for Kids - Pickleball Exploration

This Kids Pickleball Exploration focuses on gaining familiarity with the pickleball paddle and the plastic pickleball itself. Players work on building the fundamentals needed for hitting with their backhand and forehand by first learning the proper techniques for racket grip and grip pressure. Players first focus individually on consecutive hits off of the paddle. Allow each player to then come up with their own trick or fun way to move the paddle and hit the pickleball consecutively. Have everyone in the group give each other's trick a try. This can progress into volleying and counting consecutive hits with a partner or against a wall individually.
