Thank you for your video! Do we need to set up Delta Field if we choose Numeric pointer as generic delta? In video you have mentioned that doc_num is key field and that's why it is numeric pointer...I guess we can define ANY field of our table as numeric pointer. Am I right?
Not any field.. for numeric pointer we can choose fields which are comes in remnantal format. Document number is a incremental field for every new document
Numeric Pointers e.g Doc_Num, Counter. But delta wont work properly. e.g Existing Doc_Num- 1050 , Quantity 100 to 50 changed. it wont fetch delta record. Always Time stamp is recommended for multiple delta runs.
