Welcome to Uganda, such a lovely and welcoming country. You're likely to find Uganda the most loving and friendly country in Africa. You'll surely enjoy.
not wanting your car to be washed! I love it, seen other travelers who were cleaning their cars.... I don't understand while there such little water for the inhabitants, Charline, whit your lovely accent, you stole my heart I try to imagine what it would do to me seeing the refugee camp....
It's my first time to watch you and I had to subscribe to the channel because of the love you have for my home country Uganda especially my region western
Ah, the food! It gets you every time you aren’t at a decent place or restaurant and one can’t pack enough self-cooked food on a journey like yours. It is a good but dangerous way to lose undesired weight! I appreciate watching the scenery and compare it to other African lands. I am impressed by the civility of the people I have seen on the videos you post. Cheers, CR.
Thank you so much for watching again dear! Yep, sometimes I can’t really trust the food so I’ll be careful from now on! People are very kind in Africa🙏🏽

Excellent. This tour of yours reminds me of rural Africa where the scene changes at every corner. Uganda is the best country among all the Banana Republics.
My best content creator on travels. Welcome to Uganda. Sir Seretse Goitsebeng Maphiri Khama is one of my hero in Africa. He did that which was right by his people. I wish u safe journey and stay beautiful
I did the same thing you are doing but I went from Houston, Texas to every country in South America. I settled down in Medellin, Colombia and have been here now for 10 years.

Me too this dollar exchange business can be very frustrating, I had several hundred dollars given to me by a friend when I tried to change in Laos a few months ago. Now I have found a exchange shop, part of a gold shop, where I can buy crisp new bills, also the border crossing 40$ visa must be paid in new notes.
That is so good to know in advance indeed! Sometimes it gets very confusing but most of the time it’s all good at the end with the help of the people around🙏🏽
Uganda is my favourite. From being self sufficient with growing bananas, peanuts, corn, tea, coffee , can sugar, every inch is farmed. Lake Victoria is second biggest inland lake. Did you go there?

Looks completely different than the other countries, not sure how but it's different. Be careful with those food poisonings. Not sure if you will like France again after all that weather and the freedom to drive somewhere and not to be seen at all. Alone with nature is the best thing in the world. Sometimes I just want to pack my stuff and leave. All these obligations to be like and do like everyone else ... work, holiday until you retire and eventually leave this planet, there is more to it and you are doing that. Thanks for at least showing us that. Dare to stay different, laugh when everyone else seems to take things way to serious when you can do things in a fun way. You have stayed yourself the whole trip and showed us how to do it.
Wow. I was not ready to read such a beautiful message. Thank you so much Luke, your words make me happy and feel proud. I do think we all should deserve and fight to live the life we dream of, even for a short time. Thank you for your words 💙
Hello Charline! What was your experience with the Hilux? Is she comfortable for the long road trips? Am torn between the Dmax and the hilux. Its great to see that you had such a great time in Africa 🥂
I totally agree - write a book! Tell us about the incredible people you meet and the places you’ve been. Tell a story that challenges the media and the western world view.
More beautiful than Rwanda. Its a pity about the DRC conflict which has more to do with natural resources. Why that conflict does not attract the same interest for media is strange. There was once an organisation named "executive outcomes " that used to specialise in creating mayhem on behalf of big governments and mining companies.
Media are not interested in Africa……it’s a shame. Or when they interested in they tell and spread bullshit about the continent.. too bad. Your message is very interesting, never heard of that company, will look out😊
I always tell travellers coming to Africa to watch out where they eat, most especially, in roadside makeshift restaurants. That is because some of them are not hygienic. I advise to always scan for suspect in the environment before buying your food. Thank you, ma'am.

Amin was like 50 years ago. 😂 Your question shows how much you don’t know about us. It’s like asking a German of today whether they are still guilty about what they did to the Jews or asking if the Israelites are still traumatized about the holocaust.
Please don’t be upset, having lived in Enttebbe as a boy so many years ago I was just curious. I often think about what it would be like to return but now in my late seventies it is too late, I have such good memories, I love watching Charline adventures in East Africa, we also lived in Dar for a few years.
