Young lady, as you refer to her is Haruka Kikushi, a student of European Jazz trombone techniques and incomparable. If you like someone else you will tire of that repetition. She is queen of the baritone brasses.
Her trombone is very much like Big Jim Robinson, who played with the George Lewis Ragtime Band and even the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The technique was called "shout" trombone.
It's amazing at the great number of brass bands that are in Japan, their High School Bands are second too none, they play in the Rose Parade in Pasadena Calif.~USA

She may have studied Eurpoean Jazz trombone but her sound is right out of New Orleans. Which is said "Naw Lins" in Naw Lins.

Or "tailgate" trombone. Longhairs call the technique "glissando",elonggating the interval between two notes.
Kikuchi Haruka is amazing and a joy to listen to and watch. The mystery is where does someone that diminutive store the breath to blow that trombone?
There is no mystery to one who has paid the price for the reward.
