@hg82met - no one is stopping Murray from competing if he wants to - the problem is that he is showing everyone he is struggling internally to keep up with the current top 10 and he can’t handle and run with them? By tweeting and pointing fingers is showing all of us - that he cannot keep up? None of us did that he is doing it himself? He is causing a bad vibe in the locker room and maybe he needs to understand he is much older and a father and should really carry himself better?
Find his spike in performance very suspicious. Also comes off the back of the pandemic when testing was disrupted. His improvement in results seems to have been stamina-based (winning long rallies).
Well done to Norrie! He is really a lovely young man and finally someone British people should be proud of - so unlike Murray who is so entitled and a bully! Cameron maybe so lovely because he grew up with well balanced parents who did not turn him into an arrogant jerk!
Wow, LGal, tell us how you really feel. I'm not a Murray fan, but while at times he can be Mr. Hyde, especially when he was young, now that he is in his older years, he is way more Dr. Jekyl and a bit of an elder statesman for the sport. His comeback also is pretty remarkable considering he has an artificial hip.
British people who aren’t morons themselves are very proud of Murray. We have people in this country who will dislike sports players for no reason, hopefully norrie wont suffer the same the more he gets known.
Murray is none of the things you say he is. He's an extremely hard-working, conscientious player. He could have easily retired and enjoyed the riches he's already have but he still has a fire burning inside him, pushing him to achieve more.
@ Doug Tennis - Sadly Murray spoilt it for himself - he should’ve been all of the things you mentioned but right now it does not look good - salty, nasty, bully, ranting and airing his nastiness on Twitter? Murray did this to himself- instead of accepting this comeback is not going to be easy he instead reduced himself to a nagging bitch who thinks it’s up to him to bestow respect or not on others? Last time I checked it says Sir not King Murray
