Thank you for the refresher sir. Very appreciated. I used to always ask my dad how to do construction properly this makes me miss him, but I'm grateful good people like yourself post these for people like me. Grateful. 🙏👍
Thanks for taking the time to show us the details of how you install the last piece on the end of the ridge. We are about to install shingles on our shed and this is valuable information! Thank you!!
Awesome. I need to do my roof ridge cap this video really helped me understand! Thank you. Also side note. Be careful with holding nails in your mouth. If they are zinc coated they can make you pass out and possibly fall off the roof.
Thank you, I am building DIYly my shed now and don't know how to cover the two nails hole on the last piece of ridge cap. Now I know use the way now using tar. My last problem is where can I get tar? Thanks.
Hey can I ask u a question. Do u need to put flashing down first before putting on a new ridge cap ? This lady has flashing under her ridgecap but it's missing in certain areas and all bent and hanging down the roof.

Nail recommendation?
Looks like the guys who did the roof originally used leftover asphalt felt based ridge caps. The main roof is architectural fiberglass shingles.
