Hey, INFP here. just wanted to drop thousands of thanks to Joyce for bringing this awesome kind of content to the world. I also wanna thanks Cristian, everything he said, i deeply related it to myself. It's kinda open up my eyes too, I've been stuck in Fi-Si loop for quite a bit some times during this pandemic and for some reason what he said brought me clarity. I heard my Fi crying for help to get out of this misery. After a long time of it being unconsciously suppressed.
Thanks again to you two. Much love 💕

Thank you for the sweet words, Ren!! 💗 I'm touched by what you wrote. I'm glad Cristian and I were able to impact you in a positive way. Yes the Fi-Si loop can be quite dark. Sending you good vibes and hoping you're able to claw your way out of the depths of the double introverted loop. Wishing you well!

I find such relief and solace listening to other infps express themselves. I really relate to Christian when he said that he often feels like he says the exact wrong thing in a situation, often attributed to being blind in SE and FE. A nugget of truth I have revealed in myself is that this foot-in-mouth disease is simply my FI and SI finding ways to experience the outside world and bring in more data. In other words, you will never know how someone will react to something until you experience it yourself. I want to encourage Christian and any other INFP that reads this that you can trust in your unconscious mind to always teach you the lessons you need to learn to better understand yourself and the world around you, no matter how uncomfortable it makes you in the the moment.

INFPs don't have that natural ability to compliment others, but healthy INFPs really show genuine appreciation for compliments, and they try to make others feel good about their actions and words by expressing how they feel about certain statements.
This is a distinction I found in this video between Fi and Fe. Cristian says something along the lines of: "I love that word", "I've gotta use that sentence myself," etc.. I, myself, am an INFP, and catch myself doing it a lot.

the first INFP I can relate with. Someone intellectual and not just the stereotypical INFP

What a lovely guy!! 2 of my 3 best friends are INFP and I can "see them in him", even though obviously he is his own Being! Very insightful. And lovely dress too, Joyce!

20:24 Yes, that is our greatest gift, no question, and so wonderfully articulated. When we see anyone who is down and out, we will spend a good deal of time listening, and yes, probing to get to the heart of the matter and demonstrating our sincerity in wanting to be there for them...
...and agree completely about making them comfortable and at ease, that they can trust us unreservedly. As an older INFP, I have found that these scenarios occur far more frequently whether it work colleagues, family, or my kids. It's good stuff. :)

Yes; Fi's capacity to listen and genuinely care is truly a gift to humanity.

I know I'm late, but this was the best description of how we INFPs experience life. Everything Cristian expressed resonated with me. Thank you, Joyce and Cristian.

Before finding a holistic practice which JR Tolkien had, my life was unbearable but find a spiritual way of connecting to a higher transcendence has help ground who I am and understand others to the degree where I can finally have a relationship with my familiy properly.
