    That’s the one I have. The original decals. I think I have all the ArrowsRC warbirds. This one is the best of the bunch. The Corsair and the T-28 aren’t bad either.

    Great video.. Sweet little Bearcat.. It needs a retracting tailwheel.. The F8F was the plane built to beat the Zero in every way..

      Thanks! I hear you on the tail wheel, but it's not a real large airplane. It could be modified if someone were inclined I suppose.

    Thanks for the video, was looking at the Bearcat as a new addition to my hanger......would really like to see a Tigercat come out..

      I hear you on the Tigercat, I love the airplane! Thanks for watching! :)

    Nice video! You may have one more hole on the rudder SERVO HORN to move the rudder EZ connector farther out, but the tail wheel may be to sensitive then... Also, you could move the clevis inward one hole on the actual blue RUDDER HORN to get extra rudder throw without effecting the tail wheel throw.

      Thanks Rich! You're right, I could move the rudder clevis in one hole which would get a little more throw. I didn't mess with trying to get more throw too much truthfully.

      The RC Geek Neither do I... its just a way to do it... it has plenty of rudder as is:) For a 3s airplane, it seems to do everything well and has plenty of power.

      Agreed! :)

    Nice vid! I'm kind of stunned that you didn't repaint it first, lol.

      @@Thercgeek Haha, yes... I love flying but I don't consider myself one who love the tinkering and tweaking part. I think the only think that might motivate me to do a paint job would be to help with orientation.

    1400mm Bearcat would be good, even 1500mm. I just put together the Arrows RC Bearcat. It appears to be very similar to the Eleven Hobbies brand. I'm very impressed with the quality.

      I hear you on the larger bearcat. Would be a great addition. From what I can tell, the arrows RC is just a rebrand of the 11Hobby birds. This bearcat was a nice little model.

    Love the video, if you could, can you tell me where did you get your gauge for your wing, flaps and rudder, I would love to get one,,

    • @Thercgeek
      @Thercgeek  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching! :) The gauge is a Great Planes Accu-Throw meter (amzn.to/2corYkM). It's a great tool to have in the shop!

    I think this is the same as the Arrows Hobby model. I agree with CG but mine must have a heavy back end as it took 100g ballast and I am using a 220g 4S battery. There is nothing to touch this plane - nice presentation.

      Flys great on 4S, standard esc, just dont fly full throttle all the time, use for verticals, I fly mine with a 4000 4s, great flight duration and performance and make balancing plane easy.

    The best EPO foam is on the Windrider 737 airliner. Super smooth and NO scaly Lizard texture.

    • @Thercgeek
      @Thercgeek  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very interesting. I've not seen the any of the windrider birds up close. I picked up a durafly ME-163 Komet and the finish on it was quite impressive too. Smoothest stock EPO finish I've seen thus far. I've been tempted to pick up the MkV spit a few times...

    the flightline model appears to be better for the same cost , nice video

    • @Thercgeek
      @Thercgeek  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The flightline model is nice and I think the stock performance may be a little better. But in terms of looks, I think the 11 hobby is a little more scale.

    This model has been a great performer. Sadly, it has been discontinued for a couple of years now. I'm sure if they had another production run, the model would sellout very quickly. I have had mine since it was initially sold by Bangood.

    • @Thercgeek
      @Thercgeek  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Quite possibly. It was a nice little flyer.

    cool plane but marginal rudder authority even maxed out for travel , other than that very good plane

    Is that a JR radio, I see?

      Nope, I set this up on my Airtronics SD-10G. I did pick up a DX18 a while back, but haven't gotten it going in anything yet as I need to pick up a few receivers.
