- On this episode of Radio Rothbard, Ryan McMaken and Tho Bishop discuss the media campaign around Joseph Stiglitz’s new book, The Road to Freedom, which coincides with the birthday of one of his favorite targets: F.A. Hayek. Is Stiglitz, a past champion of Hugo Chavez, someone we should trust with his vision of true freedom?

Ryan absolutely on fire in this one!!!
I was reading RTS the other day.. well listening to the audiobook. And one line really stuck with me. "You cannot be selfish at someone else's expense." If there is one tenet of progressivism, other than tolerance for just about anything that isn't republican, it is surely the belief that voting for more government is a substitute for personal charity. No activist today is really interested in sacrifice, only in forcing the rich to sacrifice on their behalf.

He's both.
Ha ha. Thanks for the heads up on this new book. I could see from page 1 that it would turn out to be pure bullshit 😄😄
Terms like neoliberalism and "capitalism" mislead more than they inform. It is almost impossible to use them productively in a discussion with socialists. Before you can start you need to play their word games. Prefer laissez-faire.
They would think it's an expensive French designer.
