I'm just gonna say that "pile bunker" on the side of his feet is not for kicking things, it's for breaking from high speed maneuvers.

To be fair he said he was making his way through the show and they only explain what that part is for in the Last Red Shoulder OVA
The arms keep falling off because the bicep armor isn't pushed all the way in. Push it until you hear a click and the upper part of the bicep inner frame peeks out of the bicep armor. Then maybe give it a little extra push to make sure it can't go any further in. There's an image in the instructions showing how the finished bicep should look like.

I hope guys will do more non-Gundam stuff in the future for a little versatility.

I've been thinking about getting this for a while now. Scopedogs are awesome, and this kit doesn't look like it disappoints. Sooooooo tempting....

an underrated anime
the first model I built was MG heavy arms ew then I built the liver zero from kotabukiya, that was an insane model to build.
I haven't finished the video so I might have missed it -- but do they make more modern versions of these? I have the "pink" one (Brutishdog) and the latest kit I can find is 2007. Thanks!
It's too bad Bandai didn't reussue these kits from 2007 last year (2023) since it was the 40th Anniversary for Armored Trooper Votoms.
Interesting to see non Gundam reviews on here. You guys should do some Kotobukiya Frrame arms reviews. I'm very curious about them.
Is there a Burglary Dog kit?
Kotobukiya makes one in their "D-Style" line but those are more like SD Gundam kits. Unfortunately the selection of 1/20 scale Votoms kits from Bandai is very small.

This might be a bit pedantic but i think the red shoulder is suppose to be on the the Scopedogs left shoulder.
When vanilla paints the left shoulder of chiricos scopedog red, he says that the shade should be a deeper blood red and that it should be the right shoulder.
I think something is wrong with your zaku.
This is no Zaku, boy! No Zaku!
Conceptually, the AT seems like the perfect version of what the Zaku was going for. And of course they are both designed by Kunio Okawara.
