    First of all great reaction to this double feature. I really like the way you changed things up!
    This way we can all experience the whole thing together and see the highlights again afterwards. Really like it like that! I can imagine however it's a lot more work from your part though, but either way keep it up!

May 28th 2011 in Oslo vs August 3rd 2012 at Wacken. And the name of the female vocalist is Agnete Kjølsrud. Best wishes from Norway !

    Extraordinary band, and this is how you use a choir and orchestra. You can hear every instrument. Unlike a few other bands where their "symphonic" elements are mixed lower than the band.
    This is perfection. Lights and visuals are amazing too.
    ...
    I'm also going to ask you to pause, or speak during the songs. I'm here for real time observations from you. If I want to listen to the band uninterrupted I'll support the band and watch it on their official channels. View count is as important for them to maintain monitisation as every other TH-camr.
    So speak. You have great insight and observations, leaving it until the end will mean that you miss things, or forget things.
    The other part is the definition of fair use is transformative, you have to do something with the original clip to justify its use. Otherwise it's radio. And radio pays royalties.
    Staying within fair use will keep your channel up.
    I actually enjoy it when people rewind and replay parts, its a great way to catch things from a different perspective and definitely fits the transformative tag. And you only really need 2 or three stops and you have enough to appeal if you do get an auto copyright notice.
    Cheers!

    • @ThomFoolery1
      @ThomFoolery1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciate it. I see pros and cons to both but it does feel more natural of me to pause as I go. In terms of royalties, it actually doesn't make a difference. Even using a few seconds of this clip, all ads and monetisation goes to Dimmu Borgir (or their record label). But definitely using full clips increases the chances of it being blocked entirely. Luckily haven't had any Strikes or major drama yet haha

      Here is the second prod of this live, remade for the DVD. The whole post prod is way more advanced than in the Norvegian TV recorded show (maybe we may find this one in YT nowaday).
