We stumbled on your video, pictures and instructions they helped him to finally “get it!” He’s soo excited and proud of himself. He has an awards ceremony Monday at school, as well as being inducted into the National Honors Society! He wanted to wear a bow tie to stand out among his peers. Thanks so much!! The best bowtie explanation video I've seen, and I've watched probably 50 by now lol. No long explanations, just to the point and good angles to see what you're doing.
I have probably watched like 5 other bow tie tying videos and this was the only one that explained it perfectly for me without any stupid animal metaphors. Thank you so much!
You absolutely legend, finally a no bs video. Also just incase you’re confuse on the last part like I was when you put the back part in that loop it’s the opposite ends; Put the fish head behind the fishes tail and vise versa (you’ll understand what I mean if you’ve tried this)
Watched a couple other videos and couldn't get it. This was finally the one - the note on step 2, using your right index finger *behind* to create the first loop was the critical piece I was missing because I'd have the first loop on the wrong side on previous fails. And the side angle you showed when pushing the second loop through was really useful as well. Thank you!

This took multiple tries for me, I just wasn’t seeing that rear loop. I adjusted the tie to be shorter, and thanks to the side view you chose I was able to move myself to catch a view of it in the mirror. Then it made perfect sense. Thank you!

You need to pull on the loops in the right places if you want to adjust the knot in the center, but this is an excellent video explanation for people that do not yet know how to tie them.
