I think it’s really sweet that you have a close relationship with your family and would donate for your sister! I have a good feeling you will be able to have kids. You take such good care of yourself. Obviously even if you are a healthy person, you could still be infertile. But I know it definitely increases your chances of being able to have kids by taking care of yourself well. I can’t wait to see you be a mama one day❤
I had infertility. At 42 I finally transferred my embryo. She stuck and my daughter is 19 months old and I’m 44. But I’m single. Made it my whole life without a partner. If I had more than 1 embryo and didn’t want to have another kid, I’d donate the embryo bc I wouldn’t want my children sitting on ice for eternity.
I’ve had these thoughts also in the shower before lol… and like playing out all the what ifs in my head if I can’t have any children, but fast forward 4 years and i definitely was able to have children haha! I can’t wait to see you become a mama one day, you’ll be so good at it, you just have that natural nurturing in you 🌸🩷

i think i wouldn’t be able to give my own away because i just don’t think i could and my moms side struggles with fertility issues and ovarian cancer so i definitely heavily think about this topic and i don’t even think i would be okay with using one of my siblings eggs because in my brain those are their babies and i feel like my family would be weird abt it and make it seem like mom/aunt yk what i mean. also i commented this on your asmr channel the other day but there’s an account on youtube stealing your videos, i just wanted to let you know
A hot shower has always been great, but I noticed as I've gotten a little older that it's a lot more than just a relaxing shower. Sometimes I go in there and it's like a spark plug for my day, other days I go in and just need to breath in the hot steam and let the hot water hit my back and hips. I've even found my way into the bath lol and before this I probably haven't taken a bath since childhood lol. But I'm from michigan obv too, aint nothing beats coming home throwing down an edible with some wine and taking a hot shower.

As a guy personally i think a sperm donor is probably easier than egg retrieval/donation. Due to not carrying an embryo in my tummy and forming a bond/attachment.
A heavy subject. Giving out DNA comes with a lot of repercussions. The person giving is a permanent part of the family even if there is no further contact. That's not something that can just be forgotten, like gifting a toaster or something. It's with you forever. But maybe it's worth it. Giving life is a miracle and how often do we have the chance to do that? Lots to consider.
My aunt is adopted but I didn’t know until I was 22, never even questioned it tbh. I have no clue if there’s a backstory to it though. I’m not sure if I want kids but I wouldn’t be opposed to being a donor

Did not expect [biological] incest to come up in one of your vlogs. That TV being on sleep mode in the background bothered the heck out of me. I appreciated a mature musing by you, I think more vlogs touching real conundrums would be interesting; love to see how fellow Gen Zers think. One thing I can say that I find surrogacy, at least the kind of surrogacy when someone is implanted with another's egg to birth that child and then "return" the child to the donor (which is not one of the types you mentioned today), to be quite problematic morally. I remember reading this NY Times article (if you want a link I can find it for you, it was really moving) about the early weeks of when Russia invaded Ukraine and it was about how Ukrainian women (surrogacy often happening in poorer countries, by primarily poorer women) who were surrogates for wealthy Western couples and their struggles with being surrogates amidst the war. I had never paid much attention to the issue before that, but the article, which was very well done, inspired feelings of...disgust? with the practice. It is a sad thing, not being able to bear a child, but I couldn't endorse that version of surrogacy. For your family members? Maybe, but like you mentioned, if it's your egg and you "cook" this baby, so to speak, then you have to give it away, that must be a painful process, even to your sister, even when it's planned out.

If I were to marry, I probably would want kids so infertility would be an issue. If that were to rear its head, we'd have to put on our thinking caps and come to a solution. I know losing part of your fingernail leaves sensitive skin exposed, and I'd put a dab of Neosporin ointment and a bandage over if for a few days, changing the bandage and re-Neosporin once a day.
