- A&Z #813 - Atlas vs The Mini Bar's Delicious Mini Donuts Challenge at The Mini Bar in Jacksonville Beach, Florida which is just east of Jacksonville, FL. Hey everybody!! Back in early December 2019 a few days after Thanksgiving, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I flew from the Atlanta, Georgia area down to Florida for some food challenge events all around the state. For challenge #3, I went up to The Mini Bar in Jacksonville Beach, Florida which is famous for their specialty mini donuts. I was the first person to take on their new Mini Donuts Challenge which was absolutely delicious!! The Mini Bar offers 19 different topping options for their mini donuts, and ~3 mini donuts are equivalent to 1 normal-sized donut. I had 45 minutes to finish three of all 19 mini donuts (57 total) plus either 3 pints of beer or 3 pints of extra-thick whole milk. I also had the option to finish more mini donuts after finishing the base challenge, in an attempt to establish a record for people to beat moving forward. The challenge was so much fun and especially unique, the only one that I know of like it. Thanks to Brooke and Chase the owners and everyone with The Mini Bar for the wonderful food and hospitality, and thanks to all the amazing people who came up to watch and meet me that early evening!! The Mini Bar's Delicious Mini Donuts Challenge in Jacksonville Beach, FL ($60):
- The Mini Bar specializes in serving mini donuts and there are 19 options to choose from.
- Around 3 mini donuts are equivalent to 1 normal-sized donut.
- For this challenge, you must finish 3 of each of the 19 mini donut options.
- You also must finish 3 pints of beer (your choice) or 3 pints of the extra-thick whole milk.
- There is a 45 minute time limit to finish the entire spread of mini donuts and drinks.
- Winners receive the $60 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on their Wall of Fame.
- If interested, there is also a record challenge. If you can beat the previous record for mini donuts within the 45 minute time limit, you win an extra $100 gift card to be used later, in addition to all the base prizes. As of 2/20/2020, the current record to beat is 60 mini donuts.

They don't necessarily mean shapes, they could mean flavors of donut. Like how you can order blueberry glazed, chocolate glazed, or regular glazed donuts.

I was thinking the same thing about the milk. If it were skim milk then it would be on, but whole milk just too much. You would think a challenge like this is easy. It's just mini donuts, but 60 of them, and all that sugar has to take it's toll on the body when it kicks in, Then to have to chase it with those beers had to be a challenge, but you got it done. The mini donuts are actually a great idea. Too many times I open a box of donuts and want to taste all of them but can only eat a couple. With these mini ones you try a whole bunch without getting full or a sugar high.
