Add Vazquez. Vazquez needs to step it up at the plate because Jeffers is currently 30th out of 30 catchers defensively, worst ranking in framing pitches, blocking balls and throwing runners out trying to steal.
Hey Phil! Who has the highest batting average on the Twins? He’s a doubles machine and is playing great defense now that he’s healthy. You never talk about him. Look up his stats. Jose Miranda.
Minnesota is 7 - 22 against winning teams, 9-23 if you count kansid city into that mix. A deep playoff run, it doesn't look like the Twins will get past the wild card game.
@@Spencer1231If records don't matter why keep them at all, how about we hand professionals paid tens of million of dollars participation trophies? Why use analytics, those are also records. The point is to win in the playoffs, as it sits this year the Twins took a step back from last year's first playoff win in over 20 years.
@@benjames4502 I said that records don’t matter in the playoffs, not the regular season. You have quite the ego.

You’re prolly right to the team they say Pablo. Not doubt it should be Ober his last 9 starts he’s thrown 6+, 2 CGs. Haven’t seen a twins pitcher that dominant in short term since Johan
Falvey deserves 100% of the blame for no lefty starting pitching or lefty bullpen pitchers. He doesn’t draft them (or when he does he immediately trades them like Povich and Hajjar).
Can't catch a break on these damn Guardians. We need all the positive Minnesota sports talk we can get after this week of Vikings preseason garbage 🗑️.
The Guardians are a gritty, smart, clutch, never say die bunch, and now that they have Alex Wood and Matt Boyd healthy to be their number 2 and 3 starting pitchers they are going to be hard to catch.
I would love to have positive vibes to talk about, here's one. This is falvey's last year of his contract, maybe next year we have an operations manager who is able to construct a pitching staff?
96% of all MLB teams will fall short of winning the WS this year. Therefore, I am not overly concerned about the Twins bringing us a Championship. I am more focused on the super entertaining regular season this group of mostly young, talented players has given and continues to give us as fans. I am not going to let what may or may not happen in the playoffs overshadow the 162 games of delight I have been witnessing from these boys of summer. As a side note, we have a legit superstar in Mr. Royce Lewis. Not only is he uber-talented, he has a dynamic/magnetic personality... This is Kirby Puckett type stuff.
@@benjames4502 I've been around since the Twins first came to Minnesota. I do know that we won two World Series during the Pohlad ownership period. I've done a little research on Joe Pohlad. He is by no means a clone of his grandfather.

I agree on thielbar. It’s unfortunate but thielbar is important . Imagine facing that Baltimore 7 lefty lineup round 1. Goodnight. Okert is awful and yeah Caleb has been bad but gotta give him the chance look at his career here it’s solid . He’s had like 1 and half bad years with one of those being shortened. With 7 or 8 solid seasons give him a chance to turn it around cuz okert ain’t the answer he’s so bad
I kid you not I need a twins show episode everyday at least while the season is going. Y’all got me hooked💔😭

Vasquez is 33 years old and a catcher, this is about the best the twins may expect.

Jose Miranda.
Miranda is a darn good hitter and plays decent third and first base! Glad he was pointed out as to often he’s over looked.
We need a breakthrough from the monotony of injuries! Correa coming back is huge!
Buxton back on IL

We have 7 wins against the royals so idk how you only jump to 7-9 wins there bud.
@@BrejetyKirbyok, we're 13 - 23 against winning teams, still equals getting swept out of the playoffs.

1. Correa 2. Buxton. 3. Lewis. Yes, offense is great, but defense wins playoff games.
Royce Lewis is the closest player to Kirby Puckett the Twins have had since Kirby

Kirby Puckett had viola in '87 and Morris in '91 with complete pitching staff's, Lewis sounds like trout of LaA?
