    came across this looking for floor to ceiling tensioner poles. I'm making a custom made room divider that doesn't require drilling into studs... THIS is perfect for what I have in mind for the space... going to buy 4 asap

    I love these, I use them everyday. My only beef with them is the small and medium can’t cover between 22” and 28”. I still think you guys should rebrand that disposal jack as a floating cabinet jack instead.

      Kermit, great point I’m running into the same problem, I’ve built a couple different size risers to go under my little hand but it’s not an elegant solution

    Just used mine on a job. Closet pole ripped off and center shelf support gave way. Now shelf is weighted and bowing down. No problem. Pull out 3rd hand and jack up shelf. Make repairs and lower shelf on new stronger bracket. Without it. Would of been a two man job. Really want to buy a short one for between counter and cabinet jacking.

      So I bit the bullet and pulled the plug. I just bought the new revised garbage disposal jack. That is going to be really great to have for many applications.

    I love that it can be a huge helping hand for construction-related work. However I’m using this for a Valve Index set up to clamp my base stations for a low profile look (prefer not to drill them on walls)

    Received mine a few days ago. It's the one that extends to 144". I used it to support my 4' long with 4 bulbs shop lights. Worked very well when I removed and replaced the shop lights and the light fasteners and screws. I needed my wife's help to hold the tool vertically. Do you make an accessory that supports the actual lights? It would need to be the width of the lights and have a way to keep the lights from sliding off. If you sell these, I'll buy a pair. I purchased the 6"x6" floor pads, but they can't keep the tool in a verticle position. Tool extended to 8'. Received my pair of three-leg support accessories, and they did the job. Bought this tool and accessories from AMAZON, but they don't sell all of the tool accessories. I went to your website, but it didn't load. Thanks for your assistance and for making a great tool.

    Will this work horizontally between walls 9 feet apart to hold a 15lb light in the middle?

    I'd like to use one to balance a farm house sink during install. The sink is 47 lbs. How easy is it to move the sink/item up and down when the weight is resting on the plate?

    • @FastCapLLC
      @FastCapLLC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Going up is very easy. Each handle pump will easily lift 150 lbs about 1/2 inch per pump. Should work great for sink installation. Down is a bit harder while loaded. It just has a release tab that will basically open it so it drops. Makes it easy to release after installation but not easy to micro adjust in the down direction. Also I recommend checking out the sink sling for your sink installation! www.fastcap.com/product/Sink-Sling

      @@FastCapLLC Thank you! Had I googled sling I might have found that, I actually said to someone a sling would be helpful. Too bad I didn't invent it. lol I can't see on the site - their demo is for a very small sink, I'll check with the company and see if it would hold 47 lbs. Again, thanks for your reply. BTW, I sent the link of your jack to a few friends. I was at Lowe's one day and saw one on the counter (not your brand) and I told my friend what it was for - two workers there had no clue what they do. ha So I will definitely share your product with friends.

    For cabinets these pole dimensions are not the best.
    Ideally you could offer a single pole that extended from 50-96” and that would cover standard upper cabinets which are 52-54” off finished floor and fridge cabs which are typically 72”-96”
    The small guy works for uppers which are typically 18-19.5” above base cabinets (with and without tops)

    sort of flimsy, not very well made. Those "feet" don't actually stay attached. Doesn't seem to hold 150 Pounds.

    Too many different types of separate plastic products and extensions for the average user. Notably, the leg base. $$
