I really wish you can draw people of color , I havent seen you draw them before as you tend to draw a certain type of face. No hate intended I would just be thankful to see the different color schemes you would use!Keep up the good work! (Edit- when I meant poc this is more directed to people of African heritage, Hispanic and more, I acknowledge and appreciate however how he represents the Asian community in his work.)

Otakulover Forever he treats his sketchbooks as finished products, but for most they are rough for practing and honing your skills as well as expressing in the moment ideas
he probably has another sketchbook for just practice - or maybe he thinks he doesn't need to practice anymore and is comfortable drawing on the spot.
It's a watercolor sketchbook which has really expensive paper. You practice in another cheap sketchbook, and when you want to do a more completed piece, you do it in the watercolor book. That's why this whole book is finished art.
I know this is a joke, but
Majority of artists keep 2-3+ sketchbooks for different occasions. This obviously isn’t an experimental/planning sketchbook, though I’m sure he has one or a few.

Try to have a rough sketchbook and a "finished pieces" sketchbook, this way you should be able to have something similar to this.

Yes videos like these put a lot of pressure on young or insecure people to make their own sketchbooks as perfect as can be. They would miss the opportunity to just mess around for fun and learn while doing it. These sorts of completed art books need a different name!

Every page is a piece of dream!! Thank u for inspiring me during my high school and even replied to my emails twice. Now I am accepted by Art Center, SVA, SAIC, Parsons, Pratt MWP and more in U.S. as an international student! And I am going to pursuit 3D animation in my uni which is what u did too! Just huge thanks, for everything, really!

I honestly love all your sketches but I can't help wonder if you have drawn people of colour consistently ,mainly directed to people of African heritage, Hispanic etc- (no hate intended)? I, of course, understand its not like you intend to do this but I really am interested on how you would do it and the colour schemes you would do to complement it. I would be so thankful if you did something with it. Keep up the great work!

@@SaraBeet Oh I do understand he draws people of the Asian community and it's amazing, but I haven't seen for example much African people drawn, hispanic and more consistently or ever as they have different undertones, face shapes and not many people study them as much as other races unintentionally. I should have been more clear . I was essentially asking whether he could have even more diversity in his art ,personally I want to see what colors he use to complement it as it is different ,either way his art is still beautiful and it's his choice.
I love how consistent your artstyle is AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Making my sketchbook perfectly really stresses me and make me want to stop doing it there, get a scratch paper then make some art. Maybe I shouldn't be so hard to myself and just keep practicing until I overcome the pressure and do some thing like this. I love it! It inspires me so much! That I wanted to paint in the middle of the night with lights off. Nah, maybe tomorrow.
