Andy Gibb is not in this video. That is his brothers, Maurice, Barry, and Robin. AKA, The Bee Gees
Barry's magnificent 'breathy'',etherial lead!No autotune,just talent!
Its ok. This is Barry on lead. Even though he is almost 12 years older than Andy they looked a lot alike. Love your reactions. You would enjoy You should be dancing (Andy joined his brothers on stage) you can see all 4 brothers on stage at once. You win again is from i believe 1987. No autotune. Its called Night Fever. Barry with ponytail, Robin with Beret and Maurice. ❤❤❤
I think Andy died in 1986, did he not?
@@barbaramakescrafts2826 Andy died in 1988 5 days after turning 30.
@@barbaramakescrafts2826he passed March 10th 1988.
Bee Gees did not use auto tune or pitch correction. This is the music of my era and I still love their songs at 69 years of age and these talented songwriters and singers won't ever be duplicated. Interesting note, none of the brothers could read or write music and it's amazing that they wrote so many wonderful songs and the accompanying music for themselves and other artists too.
This song is genius. Their best. Barry lead vocals, Maurice created the drums, Robin sings the “ oh girl”. 1987 . Their biggest hit and a huge no.1 almost everywhere except the U.S. It was their last No.1 hit too. A euphoric masterpiece
The Bee Gees career covered the 1960s through to the early 2000s, so they had to change their style of singing & song writing each decade to stay relevant and successful. This song was from 1987. As others have said, Andy Gibb had a solo career, and only appears with his brothers in one video (You Should Be Dancing).
That’s correct. Andy was going to become a member of the group but died before it could happen.
Only True Blue Fans are still around to know these facts !! It's amazing how long and how hard they worked to put their music out into the world!! This is why I truly can't stomach 98.9999% of what is called music now. There are very few true talents , artists, or many who would truly know how to make great music without a computer.
bee gees paying the price of love
I'd never heard this song either, but since I am an 80s kid, I instantly knew this was from the 80s. I looked it up, and it came out in 1987. The Bee Gees are always cool. Good reaction, man. 😎
This is a great sound. ❤
Definitely Barry as lead, with his brothers Maurice and Robin.
Andy was much younger and died in 1988.
I really enjoyed watching your videos. You are a very respectful and down to earth. Play Bee Gees to make your day better. 😊
From Ireland.
FROM AMERICA 🇺🇸 💙 TO YOU ACROSS THE SEAS 🌊 and keep Stayin' Alive !!
I read this was Princess Dianas favorite song !
You Win Again was recorded and produced around 1987/88. This song was a departure from their disco sound in the 70s but still showcased that unmistakable bee gees unique sound. Love this song as much as their older classics ❤
The Bee Gees recorded hits from 1967 through 2001, and their sound never stayed the same. They had a gift for crafting songs, not just writing songs. They knew how to stay current and even set trends in music through out their career. The Bee Gees songs you have previously reacted to came from the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack. All these songs were written and recorded around the same time and were their biggest hits ever world wide, so yes they would have a similar style and tone due to that. Robin often sings co-lead with Barry. Many songs feature one lead on the verse and the other on the chorus or bridge. Sometimes they would alternate lead on the verses, and sometimes they would sing in unison together which created a 3rd lead voice. Robin and to a lesser extent Maurice also sang solo leads. Several of their hits in the 60's featured Robin as lead vocal.
My heart melts when Robin says” Ohhhhh Girl, oh girl! “. 🥰
This song was actually written and recorded after Andy died. This is The Bee Gees with Barry singing the lead. Andy was set to become a member of the band but passed before it could happen.
This was recorded in early 87, and released in September 87. Andy Gibb would introduce them on UK's Top of the Pops in December where they performed this. Andy would sadly die almost 3 months later in March 1988.
And just to add to the other two comments, it's Gibb, not Gibbs.
The famous "stomps " Mo created in his garage in Miami. The record company execs hates them and wanted them off. They refused to remove them and had the last laugh, they're iconic and make the song instantly recognizable.
💯💯😊
Love the music , the voices are great. The BeeGees didn’t get the credit that they should have gotten. From 🌞
Barry Gibb. - He's the oldest and only living Bee Gee.
The best Group ever ❤❤❤
💯💯
The greatest ever❤❤❤
They were a fresh arrival to the easy listening music genre. They were amazing.
This is my favorite Beegees song. I was born in 79.
This one was closer to the late 80's and possibly early 90's. The music sound was changing.
1987.
Night Fever, Tragedy, For whom the bell tolls, Jive talking, Alone- just so much and all good
They constantly changed to keep audiences on their toes
In a lot of photos Andy looks like Barry and Robin had a baby. Andy was quite short compared to his brothers and much younger (9 and 12 years respectively). Robin's ad libs in this and many of their songs made the songs even better. They NEVER used autotune. That wasn't even invented until the late 90's. Listen to some of their pre-disco stuff from the 60's and early 70's too.
No auto tune. Great singers!
80s Bee Gees
It is Barry Gibb. His brother, Andy has a solo career of his own.
Andy Gibb was the youngest Gibb brother and went a part of the beegees .....he had a very successful solo career...... the guy on the picture is Barry....... the beegees were Barry and twins Robin and Maurice......
I love the Bee Gees!! I'm so glad you found them !
They played 60's and on "To love somebody " !! , " How can you mend a broken heart" ohhh my heart would melt!! Melt !!
They were disco in the disco era !! Staying Alive !! Lol !! Big Time !!
Stuff I was a switch hitter when It came to music Rock and disco !!
I love your show kid !!
From Boston MA.!!! Love that Dirty Water !!
Your okay. But this is Barry. Andy wasn’t a member of the BeeGees It’s Barry Robin and Maurice
@@busterandnonna5214 Me to 🥲🥲
@@wandalewis5097 I need to correct my initial recollection. Andy was losing his battle with drugs and alcohol during the time of recording Win Again. He died about six months later. I think thats about right.
@@busterandnonna5214 When Andy did his version of Words by Barry it was just Awesome. I think I read somewhere that he was going to join the BeeGees before he past away. Wouldn’t that have been something
This guy is right, Andy sang by himself.
@@angela1857 we know that
Some people just can't help themselves! ❤
How can you mend a broken heart...the Bee Gees❤
1987. As stated, Andy had his own career, he was not a Bee Gee. Their career started in the mid sixties. Their last song was released in 2001, 2 years before Maurice died. Disco was a SMALL part of their career. And personally, I love this song. And Barry's pony tail. 😄
I was born in 52
Listened to them all the time
Pre Disco. Robin was the lead back in the 60s and part of the 70s. He had the best voice.
I love watching your reactions. You’ve got such a genuine appreciation for good music. FYI, this is Barry Gibb. Andy Gibb died at age 30 from myocarditis. The two brothers that look alike are twins. The lead singer here of the Bee Gees is Barry Gibb. 1970s pop music. Yes, believe it or not it’s pop music. Definitely deserves to be in a better genre.
This was a move to the sound of the 80s. Lots of performers changed their sound during that era.
These are definitely their real voices.
Auto-Tune was invented in 1997 by Antares Audio Technologies.
Quite simply one of the greatest groups of all time .... have a listen to 'SECRET LOVE', an even later release of theirs, in 1991.
This is before autotune. They didn't need it, for sure
No you were right the first time. Andy was not a beegees. That is Barry in the middle Robin on the left with long hair Maurice playing the bass
This was the end of 1987. Robin was singing the high notes behind Barry. Night Fever was the song.
Love all Bee Gee songs...great harmonies. FYI, It's Barry Gibb, with his brothers Maurice and Robin. Andy, the youngest Gibb brother (but he wasn't part of the Bee Gees) died over 35 years ago. For those who don't follow the Bee Gees, their name stands for Brothers Gibb.
They also wrote songs for Barbara Strisand, and Celine Dion.
Jive Talking is one of my favorites. They wrote that song when they were riding in a car and listening to the tires as they hit the cracks in the road. Amazing.
Unfortunately Barry is the only brother left of the four.
Thank you again.😊
This is my favourite BeeGee song
Thank you, IamKing
This is Barry Gibb Andy died a long time ago... My dad thought he was a Bee Gee ! My dad Sounded just like Barry... kinda looked like him too.❤❤❤
I've never heard this song. It's definitely different than what I'm used to hearing the Bee Gee's sing.
That was Barry Gibb , you were right. This is the first time I ever heard this as well.
☺️ I like Night Fever, too. All the Bee Gees songs you’ve listened to, besides this one, was from what I call their falsetto era. Barry discovered he could sing high-pitched when he was recording Night Fever. He didn’t know till then that he could do that with his voice. I don’t really care for You Win Again. I like music with more of a groove or more soul and emotion. Those things started disappearing from music during the 80’s, in my opinion. A song you might like is To Love Somebody. It’s before their falsetto era, but still good - about 1969, I think. Thanks for the reaction.
Andy is the younger brother. He had a solo career. He guested sometimes with the BeeGees. That's Barry with the ponytail and the fraternal twin brothers, Maurice and Robin.
Pure talent!
hello from ireland! great video haha barry is on lead and robin did all the soul backing
As folks have said…this is Berry, Robin, and Maurice…NOT ANDY
I think Night Fever is the song you’re thinking of at the end. It’s from the soundtrack for the movie Saturday Night Fever which, to this day, is the top selling soundtrack of all time!
1987. Princess Diana's favorite!!
It is Andy Gibb song but that is Barry singing. Also. Have you heard Aaron Neville
Thanks not enough people react to this ....was a massive number 1 of my youth
Three Australian brothers!!!!
Love your channel. This was at a time they lost their 70-80’s begeees sound. But still great.
This is Barry brother. I can tell at first glance, and some of their later music that I have not heard myself. Andy was the youngest and he had a separate music career from his brothers. He was insanely, talented as well. You need to check out some of his material, as well. Best looking out of the boys next to Barry.
The BeeGees are nothing short of LEGENDARY. They covered so many generations starting in 1958 when they started their group. They had to update their sound over the decades to remain relevant to the audience. They wrote over 1,000 songs not only for themselves but for other great artists such as "Grease" for Frankie Valli, "Heartbreaker" for Dionne Warwick, "Islands in the Stream" duet for Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, as well as songs for Diana Ross, Al Green and Barbra Streisand (just to name a few). Their greatest contemporaries were the Beatles in the 1960's. Barry Gibb, the eldest brother of the Bee Gees, shares most consecutive "Billboard Hot 100" number ones with John Lennon and Paul McCartney. He is listed in the Guinness Book of world records as the second most successful songwriter in history, behind Paul McCartney.
Yeah they r amazing and to know it's pure raw talent.have u listened to 'journey' Steve Perry lead singer has the voice of an angel too.they came out Abt 6/8 yrs later .they had raw talent that's y when u saw them in concert they sound the same unlike today all the gadgets.I appreciate u kiddo.plz listen to journey late 70s early 80s into early 90s he quit damn shame amazing voice beautiful .btw be gees were still going into 80s.much love kiddo
Andy is the younger brother of the Bee Gees had a solo career.
This is mid to late 90’s and they were doing a different style. They went through many different styles & never needed autotune. Disco was only a small part of their 50 year career.
@renyauger4560 this from the 1987 album ESP.
Its Barry Gibb
No, this is Barry Gibbs! Andy was the baby brother who was the first to pass away so young!
Try listening to Andy Gibb's "Shadow Dancing". Brother of the Bee Gees.
Have you ever seen the movies Saturday night fever and staying alive? Those were great albums and the Bee Gees were on most of the tracks Saturday night fever album. Every track was in the top 40 sometimes the top 10 Andy Gibb you should check out those videos “I just want to be your everything”, “thicker than water” and “Shadow Dancing”
This song early 90's
My one thing is …just a suggestion. Do a little research on the song before reacting. You don’t have to listen to it first, but many read up on when it was done, the people singing it, where it went in the charts, etc. I really enjoy those reactors that give a little history of the song before they react.
Totally agree.
Barry..not Andy RIP...
One of my favorites but love the video from Midnight Special..❤Bee Gees 😊
I’m a huge BeeGees fan - they’re my favorite group of all time - and I’ve never heard this song before. It was good, but I wouldn’t judge BeeGees music on this song as it wasn’t classic BeeGees.
Andy Gibb died in 1988 long before this song was performed plus Andy wasn't a member of the group he chose a solo career xx
👏👏👌
Keep on with your reactions, Andy is a lot younger but looks like Barry than the other 2 brothers.
Andy died very young and was an individual artist. Only brother still with us is Barry
It is Barry Gibb in the video!
This is not Andy Gibb,, this is Barry, Kobin, and Mourice.Gibb. The Bee Gees.
This I'd say is an "evolved" Bee Gees..
as to the song you were trying to think of maybe - ?
"Nights on Broadway"
You were right the first time, it is Barry Gibb.
Night fever
Barry looking alot like Chuck Norris😭❤
Dude this is Barry Gibb not Andy. There was no auto tune that is there own voice!!!!!!!! 1963 they were on TV show at I think Barry 12 , Moe and Robin at 8 if I am not mistaken. Please forgive me for any misinformation.
Pull up Robin singing One Love. He’s got an amazing voice as well. Super sexy voice.
I've never heard this one...I'm glad you chose it. 🙂
💚💚💚
Check out Run DMC and Aero Smith Walk This Way. A rap rock duo song from the late 80s
1987 this was everywhere #1 all over the world exclude the US where radio stations celebrate Bee gees radio Sundays and Barry, Robin and Maurice suffer the disco backclash. 👍🔥
@MishaGER, not EVERYWHERE but the US. It never reached #1 in many countries. Easy to get those statistics with a Google search 🙄
@@Zlata1313 Stalking Zlata with her fake news again 😂 so boring at home alone 🙄
@@MischaGER fake news? Hardly. How about you go look up the charts for the song and see your statement isn't correct. Boring at home? Hardly. Stalking? No I just noted your incorrect statement . But where is your usual BORING comment about the million chicks unconscious after seeing Barry? Someone has a mancrush on him hmmm? Boring at home?
Andy Gibb passed before this video was made. This is the BeeGees, Andy's older brothers. Barry, Maurice (deceased) and Robin (deceased)
This is Barry. Andy died at 30 yrs of age
Its Barry!!!!!!!!!
The guy in the start of the video is Barry Gibb. The 3 Bee Gees are Barry Gibb and the fraternal twins Robin & Maurice. Andy is their brother who is about 10 years younger than the twins. Andy usually performed on his own and was not part of the Bee Gees.
Autotune did not come out until about 1990, so no, they did not use it.
Its Barry!!!!!
No one of my favourites either… it obviously comes from a place of loss but not willing to give up completely on love.
I'll be 66 next wk and I've never heard this song.
I can't believe what I'm hearing it's well known that the lead singer is Barry Gibb Andy wasn't in the Bee Gees and sadly died before this brilliant song if I'm not mistaken
It's not Andy..Andy was the youngest brother and by far the MOST handsome 😍 💜 ❤️. He never wore a beard to the best of my memory ..so that may help you with photos of the brothers in future.
#hatersgonehate WeLoveYou ❤
Actually, in the video where he sings "Words", Andy does have a beard. And he could easily pass for Barry's twin in the video.
You’ve seen 70’s Bee Gees and 80’s Bee Gees, why not take it back to the beginning with their first international single NEW YORK MINING DISASTER 1941 or TO LOVE SOMEBODY - both are from 1967. Also, I agree with the other comments that you should react to The Bee Gees with Andy Gibb YOU SHOULD BE DANCING Live 1979 to see all 4 brothers in a rare performance together. It was the encore finale of the concert and they surprised the crowd by bringing Andy out. He had recently had several #1 hits and was super popular.
