I could listen to her playing all day every day, the sound is just amazing. I know the words music to my ears gets used alot but this is definitely music to my ears.
This was my first of many vhs and later dvd I have so many now but this was hands down the best instructional of gospel piano. her treatment of each song from a beginner intermediate and advanced level allowed me to grow and actually use these techniques during sunday services.
The truth of the matter is that traditional gospel is harder to learn to play than contemporary music because of the 'pocket' contemporary playing requires less structured chords. Ethel you are awesome!!!

i will buy your videos , you are a good teacher , you and my mother play just alike , i rember when i was a little boy i useter go with my mother when she was takeing piano lesson , once my mama learn how to read music she wanted to teach me how to bread music , i was young and stupid now that i am older my mother and byou play some of the same birds . my dad played the keyboard to , thank you for your videos . they help out a lot. tyrone bates , teach me how to play again

+Osasu Oyemwimina I disagree respectfully i was a beginner when I got this dvd really vhs and i learned to play you have to put the work in. get the dvd you wil see its not as dificult when you follow her teaching method. this version you are hearing is her advanced version with all the tricks thrown in. she has a basic version and an intermediate version as well of each song she teaches

I just love her playing. I bought this learning course many years ago.
This lady is just totally awesome. She's fight cancer at the moment so my god look after her. UPDATE: She sadly died this week. RIP.
