    Thank you for this! I was told to use an embossing buddy on the acetate but it causes the shakers to look "dusty" on the inside. I'm definitely gonna try the rubbing alcohol! That's brilliant!

    Thank you for the video! I've been Cricut-ing for awhile but just venturing into cake toppers. So much fun! Might turn into the side business I've been mulling!

    Thank you. I do make cake toppers and from time to time shaker ones and I’ve had sticking problem. So will try window cleaner 😊

    That was super interesting. I have not done any shaker cards yet, I have only had my Cricut for a few months now. So this is super helpful as they look like a lot of fun and I'm excited to try one.

    How deep did you do the second batch that you tested?

    • @CraftaraCreates
      @CraftaraCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent question Shawn! The deeper shakers are just a hair over a 1/4 an inch.

    It would be interesting to see how New & Used Dryer sheets compare to the Rubbing alcohol.

    • @CraftaraCreates
      @CraftaraCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that would be a good comparison. I tried a new dryer sheet in the past and it left residue on the acetate. Its possible I rubbed the acetate to strong with the dryer sheet.

    I'm wondering if an anti static bag would work like the ones you use before embossing with embossing powder.

    many craft sites seem to use a small pouch with cornstarch in it to remove static by rubbing over the acetate. Have you tried that?

      I've seen those too! If I ever come across one at the craft store I may grab it. I've never tired one.

    I use a dryer sheet to remove static

      Another great idea! Do you ever have issues with residue left on the acetate from the dryer sheet? I've experienced the residue before with a brand new dryer sheet.
